Well singing before a President of the United States is a great honor. What more would you like to know? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Well than congrats to your wife. Thanks pk. But I do have to disclose that she sang a duet along with my father. The two of them were greatly received (I think). Oh. And ... the President's wife was there also. I'm not sure if she enjoyed it though. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Members phkrause Posted June 24, 2010 Members Posted June 24, 2010 Nothing wrong with that. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Nothing wrong with that. You mean there is nothing wrong if the President's wife didn't enjoy it? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 I considered asking for the President's autograph. But resisted. I would tell you why ... but then this thread might be moved to 'politics'. Members phkrause Posted June 24, 2010 Members Posted June 24, 2010 WOODY BUT I am also a little confussed about who you are talking about also confussed who is the wife??? dgrimm60 Not sure who the President is, but dgrimm, Woody is talking about his wife! Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Guest Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Not sure who the President is, but dgrimm, Woody is talking about his wife! You mean the one who pours concrete? Quote

Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 RICHARD i just thought that maybe it is the PRESIDENT of the CALIFORNIA CONFERENCE and his wife dgrimm60 No. The President of the California Conference has nothing to do with it. You will have to come up with a better guess than that. So far ... I have given you a couple clues. One is that it is a President of the United States. And the other is that he is a Republican. Now come on ... there aren't that many Republican Presidents of the United States around. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Moderators Kevin H Posted June 24, 2010 Moderators Posted June 24, 2010 There are the two former President Bush, but am I on the right track about they type of president. Seems like instead of giving us hints and clues that this event would cause you to just give all the details. Anyway congratulations to your wife Quote
Outta Here Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Did you...congratulate your wife, Woody? If you still haven't, then I suggest doing so. Else, was there another purpose to this thread? Were the readers supposed to play a guessing game? Quote
Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Kevin and Aubrey. You are just too wise. Or else ... you are getting use to my style. There IS something I am hiding. (Obviously) The little detail I'm leaving out .... is that the President is dead. My wife and my father sang before his casket in a 77 foot high monument located at his Presidential Library. The acoustics were great. I was trying to give my wife some celebrity status that she probably didn't deserve. oh well. She's still pretty special in my heart. And yes Richard. I know you are interested in concrete. The monument is made of concrete. A huge amount. Far more than Blanche could ever lay. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Outta Here Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Tell her! By the way, was it a planned performance, or an impromptu? One of those two answers would cause me to want to meet your wife one day. Quote
Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Let me know which way to answer it so that you might be caused to meet her. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
