Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted June 25, 2010 Members Posted June 25, 2010 Good One GLG. I would list more of Blanche's ... but I fear that not only might the SS be monitoring Club Adventist ... but Blanche might be also. That would even be WORSE. oh, for goodness sakes....the Secret Service couldn't care less about your wife singing in front of a memorial. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Woody Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 Your logic should make sense. But we are in the days of Obama. Since we moved in to the house we live in ... two years ago .... I would never have thought it was necessary for a septic system to have a direct land line to the EPA .... either. But Obama is causing us to lose more and more of our freedoms .... despite his promise of change. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
olger Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Question Woody. What song would Blanche sing at Obama's memorial? og out Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."

Administrators Gail Posted June 25, 2010 Administrators Posted June 25, 2010 I was looking at the title of the thread and it reminded me of a time when Marilyn Monroe sang before a president. That seemed to go over well... Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Liz Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 I think she sang "The Battle Hymn of the Republic", because that would have been a cool one to burst out with. Moderators Kevin H Posted June 26, 2010 Moderators Posted June 26, 2010 Kevin and Aubrey. You are just too wise. Or else ... you are getting use to my style. There IS something I am hiding. (Obviously) The little detail I'm leaving out .... is that the President is dead. My wife and my father sang before his casket in a 77 foot high monument located at his Presidential Library. The acoustics were great. I was trying to give my wife some celebrity status that she probably didn't deserve. oh well. She's still pretty special in my heart. And yes Richard. I know you are interested in concrete. The monument is made of concrete. A huge amount. Far more than Blanche could ever lay. Ok, so we have a tomb of a former Republican President and his wife, where you can by by their caskets in a 77 foot hight monument that has good accustics. So this rules out the Presidents where you can only see the spot where they burried them. And it seems as if we are all having trouble figuring out who's burried there, I don't know how high it is but was she in New York City? it sounds like Grant's tomb. Quote
Moderators Kevin H Posted June 26, 2010 Moderators Posted June 26, 2010 Looking at a website with photos of President's graves, William McKinly's also appears to fit the ticket. Don't know if she would be alowed inside of Zachary Taylor's. Was it a father and son? John and John Quincy Adams photo seens to fit some of the discription, so does James Garfield, and you actually see President and Mrs. Garfield's casket. Quote
