Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Okay ... she was just moved by the Spirit and the acoustics. :) Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 While she was 'moved by the Spirit'. I cowered in the corner with embarrassment. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
olger Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Is it in Simi Valley? Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 I ain't tellin. The Secret Service Agents might come by and charge her with desecrating the atmosphere of a dead president. HA HA lol Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Outta Here Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 I definitely would like to meet her one day! I love the impromptu, singing in wide-open spaces that cause embarrassment to loved ones. SWEET! Quote
Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Well then ... she is definitely your gal. This was not the first time she's pulled a stunt like this. She does this frequently to me. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
olger Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Depends on what was sung. "I will always love you" Last thing on my Mind - Tom Paxton You aint Nuthin but a Hound Dog - pelvis presley Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 I will have to ask her what she sang. I know she completed the entire song. But I was in shock and was not paying a lot of attention. I was just trying to find a place to hide. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 WOODY I AM going to go out on a limb here and guess the 1st BUSH president the father BUSH dgrimm60 Nope. Last I checked ... he's still alive. Unless this was just a rehersal. lol Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
olger Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 I going to guess - William McKinley (most likely) William Henry Harrison James Garfield Warren Harding og out Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 I'll have to give the same answer to these guesses og as your previous guess of Ronald Reagan .... If I tell you .... the Secret Service might come after us :) Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Nope. I said it was a dead Republican president. It's one of those Republican bodies that are around. But not a live one. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 But this does bring up an interesting question. Does the Secret Service protect the bodies of dead Republican Presidents? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Moderators Gerr Posted June 24, 2010 Moderators Posted June 24, 2010 What did they sing? Soul? And will you now be more mellow with the president? Quote
Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 I think she sang God Bless America ... or something like that. But when she finally gets home tonight ... I will ask her. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Members phkrause Posted June 24, 2010 Members Posted June 24, 2010 Kevin and Aubrey. You are just too wise. Or else ... you are getting use to my style. There IS something I am hiding. (Obviously) The little detail I'm leaving out .... is that the President is dead. My wife and my father sang before his casket in a 77 foot high monument located at his Presidential Library. The acoustics were great. I was trying to give my wife some celebrity status that she probably didn't deserve. oh well. She's still pretty special in my heart. And yes Richard. I know you are interested in concrete. The monument is made of concrete. A huge amount. Far more than Blanche could ever lay. So I'm guessing its Ronny Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
SivartM Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Abraham Lincoln! Quote "Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much." - Oscar WildeDo to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets." - Jesus
Members phkrause Posted June 24, 2010 Members Posted June 24, 2010 Abraham Lincoln! You what Sivart I think you might have a better guess than mine. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Well Sivart ... that's as good a guess as any I suppose. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Woody Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 When the Secret Service stops monitoring Club Adventist. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
SivartM Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 They watch everything! Don't look out your window. Quote "Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much." - Oscar WildeDo to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets." - Jesus
olger Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I'll have to give the same answer to these guesses og as your previous guess of Ronald Reagan .... If I tell you .... the Secret Service might come after us I guess I can park my black helicopter... :) Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
GreatLakesGramma Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 When the Secret Service stops monitoring Club Adventist. Ok then, just PM everybody. Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26. "To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable, because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you." -- C. S. Lewis
GreatLakesGramma Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Well then ... she is definitely your gal. This was not the first time she's pulled a stunt like this. She does this frequently to me. My ex son in law used to embarrass my daughter in public, usually while they were shopping at WalMart. Once he was singing at the top of his lungs "I wish I were an Oscar Meyer weiner. That is what I'd truly like to be...." Some man they couldn't see in another aisle called out, "don't worry, you are!" That is only ONE example. Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26. "To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable, because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you." -- C. S. Lewis
Woody Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 Good One GLG. I would list more of Blanche's ... but I fear that not only might the SS be monitoring Club Adventist ... but Blanche might be also. That would even be WORSE. :( Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
