If you stay here, you will find that what once shocked you was nothing compared to some things you will see later. Get a mattress and put it on the floor behind you, put on a sturdy helmet, and don't sit close to any walls. :-)

LOL

But you will also find a core group of posters who do have a close walk with God.

It is the lunacy that makes the truth so plain at times.

I have learnt much here reading the answers of those that are led by the Spirit...

You will figure out who they are over time.

Be warned, there are a few trolls on this board, who will try to antagonise you into behaviour that you would not normally commit under normal pressure.

Well you will find that some here understand Ellen White and her purpose and some don't. I think if she knew how people were 'using' her ... she would rise up from the grave and scream.

Don't get me wrong. I love Ellen White. I appreciate reading her. I sell her books. I guess you could call me a colporter. I suppose this is why I see more abuse than the average believer. And so it really frustrates me. God gave us a gift and we abuse it. Shameful.

May we be one so that the world may be won.

I got this request that might interest you:"I'd like to read your view of 9/11 and it's connection with scripture."

That is an in-depth study that links directly to the 7-headed beast in Revelation 13 study.

To lead into that discussion, I will ask "is God confused?"

I do not believe that He is confused. But have you ever read:

Daniel

7:1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, [and] told the sum of the matters.

7:2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

7:3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

7:4 The first [was] like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

7:5 And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and [it had] three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.

7:6 After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.

7:7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it [was] diverse from all the beasts that [were] before it; and it had ten horns.

Notice Heaven's official interpretation:

Daniel

7:17 These great beasts, which are four, [are] four kings, [which] shall arise out of the earth.

Two things have changed from the vision to the interpretation that was given by a being in HEAVEN not a man. 1) the beasts that we know to be kingdoms are specifically identified as KINGS. And the word used for kings occurs almost 3000 times in Scripture in Aramaic and Hebrew. With three exceptions it is KING or KINGS. NEVER kingdoms. And the location from which the beasts arise changed from sea to earth. That is significant. Earth and sea are different in Bible prophecy.

In Revelation 13 the symbols that John uses are: sea, leopard, bear, lion and earth. In Daniel 7 the same symbols are use but traditionally the earth is taken as literal rather than symbolic.

If the earth in Daniel 7 is symbolic like it is in Revelation 13, the endtime meaning of the prophecy takes on a totally new meaning.
