Sounds like it might be good to flavor up a pot of pinto beans with. If the flavor is good.

I put a habenero in my pinto beans when I cook them. It's one habenero per 5 quart dutch over full of pintos.

1 large onion

8-10 garlic cloves coarsely chopped

2 tablespoons of molasses, more if desired

2 tablespoons of brown sugar, more if desired

kosher salt to taste

1 habenero

Add all other ingredients to beans after they have been cooked to desired softness.

For a very simple recipe, it's a delicious pot of beans. Before I became diabetic I used more brown sugar and molasses so those who don't have my health issues might want to use a little more of each.

I can't do anything but rollingsmile in response to that.

I got a few funny looks because I laughed out loud in the library....
