Woody Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 Not sure that I like the sound of "Woody's Goodies", but where is this place...? I ask because I don't know where it is....and Ozarkwoman may not know where it is either.... I bet that Neil could sniff it out., Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. jasd Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 In the spirit of lyrics, allow me to post what in my opionion is perhaps - the greatest sermon ever penned by man. and found on the wall of an insane asylum... The love of God is greater far Than tongue or pen can ever tell; It goes beyond the highest star, And reaches to the lowest hell; The guilty pair, bowed down with care, God gave His Son to win; His erring child He reconciled, And pardoned from his sin. Refrain: Oh, love of God, how rich and pure! How measureless and strong! It shall forevermore endure— The saints’ and angels’ song. When hoary time shall pass away, And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall, When men who here refuse to pray, On rocks and hills and mountains call, God’s love so sure, shall still endure, All measureless and strong; Redeeming grace to Adam’s race— The saints’ and angels’ song. Could we with ink the ocean fill, And were the skies of parchment made, Were every stalk on earth a quill, And every man a scribe by trade; To write the love of God above Would drain the ocean dry; Nor could the scroll contain the whole, Though stretched from sky to sky. (the question obtains: why is Gd so sparing with His particular gifts?) Quote

Guest Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 A year ago my son attempted this with drugs, but failed because of nothing short of a mirrical. Would you say then, that it was the grace of God that saved his life? Quote
Dr. Rich Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Sure Richard, no problem with that my friend! But grace will not be enough for anyone after the time of trouble starts since everyone in the whole world will have had a chance to hear the real truth and either accept it or choose to ignor it. You see grace does play a part, but only for those who are truth seekers heading in the right direction. The minute they change their way of travel and seek and follow lies, then God's grace will not and can't do anything from them because each of us has to make that choice. (Free choice). And if some of you did not see my written THANKS for your prayers before, then please see it here again! Quote

Exactly Dr Rich! You got it. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
