The problem is never God.The question,however, is why are these things happening? A very legitimate question, I might add.

The reason this is happing is because there is a war between God the Creator and Satan; moreover, we are in the middle of that war. There is something that we have in common with Satan guiding us to behave in certain way. This is our intelligence. However, since he was originally created superior in intelligence to all the other angels and since we have been created somewhat lower than all the angels, Satan's intelligence is much superior to ours. In order to overcome Satan's superiority over us, we need to be constantly guided by God's Holy Spirit because, He is the Creator and in no way Satan's intelligence can be superior to God's awareness of how things truly are.

At the individual level, many of us are able to overcome Satan's temptations and pay no attention to many suggestions coming from the Devil due to our connection to God in prayer. However, as a collective group of believers we are not doing what needs to be done.

Just by simple observation, anyone could understand that our human intelligence governing our behavior has four dimensions prompting us into action: Spiritual, emotional, secular and political dimensions.

If we believe that Jesus Christ is our personal savior, we are going to believe Him when He says: I am the way, the truth and the life..." (John 14:6). We are also going to believe Him when He says: "Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters" (Luke 11:23). However, in our daily secular lives Jesus is not something tangible that could make us understand why things occur. This means that we need to use what we learned in school when we were teenagers. During those years we learned that if 4x + 2 = 10, we could find out what is the value in 3x + 2x by a rule of substitution.

Now, Jesus says that He is the truth. He also said that whoever is not with Him is against Him. Now, if we use the "rule of substitution" and we say that it is a truth that the human reproductive organs have been designed for the creation of families by couples that biologically complement each other then those who are not in favor of that "truth" are going to work against that truth in the same way that those who don't believe in Jesus are going to be against Him. Atheist governments in China, Russia Cuba or North Korea will not do what the California's legislature is doing because they have not yet rejected the truthfulness that the human reproductive organs were designed in order to have couples of the opposite sex to engage in a biologic behavior designed to bring new individuals to this earth. Registered voters in the state of California who are friendly to the homosexual agenda have been using the political dimension of their intelligence in order to elect judges and state legislators who are going to also be friendly to that agenda.

Regretfully, it will be very difficult for the Adventist Church in North America to have a healthy growth of second and third generation American citizens accepting our Lord Jesus Christ because the energy and capabilities that should be used for bringing in new members and making them to have a healthy spiritual growth will be diverted into an internal struggle regarding the biologic sex of the people in leadership. Jesus once asked: "What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?" The question PU leaders should keep in mind would be: What good would be for you to gain other North American union church leaders to follow your thinking regarding WO instead of spending such time and energy in introducing Jesus' teachings within the California's legislature if later you or the members of the churches led by you are punished as criminals because they tried to get counseling for kids against homosexual leaning? The real issue is priority. If your neighbor's house is now on fire, please don't spend now your time arguing with your spouse what Christmas decoration you are going to use in the front of your house during the coming Christmas season.

We could also say that our lack of commitment to develop a very healthy spiritual dimension in the intelligence guiding our words and behavior, our lack of knowledge or interest in nurturing good emotional interaction among ourselves, our poor ability of having a down to earth approach of how to motivate non believers to know more about Jesus' message and a gross mismanagement of our very limited political influence that is being used to minimize the influence of fellow believers who have an opinion different than ours (instead of using it to exalt our Lord Jesus Christ) is what has enabled God's enemy, Satan, to guide the legislative body in the State of California to create laws that would penalize as criminals those Christian parents sending their kids for counseling if those kids have a homosexual leaning.

I am conducting research into this very topic. Suffice it to say there is both internal and external linkage between the two pursuits. But, I'm not completed yet.

That is called a giant leap in desire to discredit both men and women. Tis not even reasonable!!!
