Samie Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 The chart below answers the topic of the OP: Is there any inconsistency in the chart with what Scriptures say? Quote
Umfundize Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Satan will NOT use the resurrected evil to help attack Jerusalem. The Jerusalem referred to in Rev 20:9, is not the New Jerusalem. NJ only comes down AFTER hell is over and the New Heaven and Earth was established. Jesus will, for the first and only time, sit on His father DAVID's throne and the 12 apostles on 12 thrones, ruling the nations. Has this ever happened? No! Could it be something that will transpire in heaven? No! Because Jesus shares God's throne. Could it happen on the New Earth? No! Because Jesus will sit on God the Father's throne! It can ONLY happen during the EARTHLY Millennium. SDA's are the ONLY people on earth who believe they will "study the records for a thousand years IN HEAVEN"! This is totally unBiblical and thousands of church-members no longer believe this.No reason to doubt the fair judgment of Jesus! The ONLY Book to have your name in, is the Lamb's BOOK OF LIFE, regardless of your "sin-record" that God FORGETS! Satan uses those who will be living at the end of the Millennium and did not accept the gospel to attack the city of Jerusalem as well as those who are "camping" around the city. For the correct position on the Earthly Millennium, read the final pages of Adventist Alternative when you visit www.adventistalternative.org. Quote
Gibs Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 This is the answer to the question, Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Joh 14:4 ¶ And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Heh, heh, he went to Heaven! 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Quote A Freeman In Jesus Christ
Umfundize Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Where do you read Jesus will take us to "Heaven"? Quote
Moderators Kevin H Posted July 8, 2012 Moderators Posted July 8, 2012 Umfundize: Hell is the physical visible apperence of God in all God's glory and love, which is heaven for the saved and places the lost in a position where they see Jesus their deepest desire and long to come and be with him, but they have destroyed their will, they want to come but they won't. Jesus is so attractive to them and irrisistable grace is drawing them stronger than the strongest magnet ever, pulling to the point just short of forcing the will. They long to repent but since they are unforgiving people they cannot comprehend that God can forgive them and seeing their sinfulness in contrast to the pureity of Jesus they feel that sooner or later God will have to get them for their sins. They choose the pleasure of sulking and dwelling on their complaints and want to get the city by force to try to compromise their desire to be there and their refusal to submit to the drawing beauty and love of Jesus. Thus keeping the New Jerusalem off the earth until some sort of silly unbibilical divine spanking has to take place first which is NOT the Biblical discription as to what, or rather who, hell fire is has gotten you off track. Hell is the pressence of God in person, it is the glory of God's love. The wicked are destroyed by this but as Isaiah 33 says the righteous will be able to live in the eternal fire. Tell me, when does God leave us? When does God's love burn out? Since hell fire is the love and glory and visible pressence of God, that means that if you are waiting for hell to burn out before the New Jerusalem can come down, you will be waiting around forever. Please look at this information that I just got from a friend last night which is dealing with this topic: But oh what trouble when the masses awake to the reality that the judgments are intensifying. Then behold! the Antichrist will arise by the activity of Satan to assure and reassure the masses that he and his government have the solutions that will save mankind. The world-state will be put into full effect as mankind struggles massively to avoid and lessen the falling judgments. The remarkable supernatural events that will surround the rise of the Antichrist are already clearly stated. By the appearance of demons as the departed and beloved dead millions and tens of millions will be convinced of the "truth" that the Antichrist is God's agent for the salvation of mankind. The familiar look, the familiar tone, which will be such a relief to the millions who have lost loved ones, especially in the judgments of God, will be an overwhelming deception. Even more powerful will be the deception planned by the evil one, called in Scripture "the deceiver of the whole world," who will personally take on the role of Christ. Shouts of "Christ has come" will ring out in places the world over. By direct apparitions in some cases, by deceptive visions and dreams, he will impersonate the Savior. The majestic appearance, buttressed by many of the same gracious truths the Savior taught in His life on earth, will be virtually perfect. This is the overmastering delusion so great that it will deceive the very elect if possible. And many of the alleged elect are actually working toward making it possible. Satan's desire from the beginning of the introduction of sin into the universe has been to displace God, to be worshipped. He even begged, in almost abject desperation, of the Savior in His immense suffering in the wilderness, to simply fall down and worship him. In the scenes just before us Satan will indeed become the deceiver of the whole world, and achieve the goal of seeing the great mass of humanity fall down and proclaim him the living Christ. Even now, in the great false prophecy movement that has developed so powerfully in the Christian world, the basis for this great final deception is being laid. Not only in the Christian world, however, for in orthodox Judaism the longing for the appearance of the Messiah at last will be falsely fulfilled. And the hopes of hundreds of millions in the Islamic world will be fulfilled with great rejoicing, as "Issa" (Jesus) appears at last to announce the beginning of the age of peace. Then the scenes of Revelation 11 and 12 will be enacted, as the 70th Week is reprised for the final time. The dragon in unhindered rage will go forth to destroy the remnant of the righteous and wipe out the great multitude who pass through the final tribulation. But the faithful remnant, under the symbol of the pure woman, will be protected supernaturally, for God will not allow the truth to cease because of Satan's desire to seize the earth for himself and his host. The earth will open and swallow up the flood of rage. The remnant will not be deceived by the overpowering evidence of Satan's activities, with his Antichrist world-state government, his deceitful pastors and false prophets, and the great false Christ appearing everywhere. A great multitude that no man could number from every nation, kindred, tongue and people will rise from among all the churches, sects, and beliefs, all who have been responding to Christ's Spirit. Many will not even understand the fullness of the gospel, but have felt the impelling power of the Spirit will resist the deceptive signs and wonders performed by Satan, his demonic host, and his human agents. Particularly in the Christian world, the false prophecy movement is changing the scene of Christianity, developing the false revival that must precede the true one. Under the false concepts of dispensationalism, the masses are taught that they will not be on earth when Antichrist arises, thus being led to completely misread the reality of their situation. Next, misapplying the prophetic passages that were conditional in nature, regarding the Messianic Kingdom that never came, due to the rebellion of God's ancient people, these false teachers lead people to expect the appearance of Christ upon the earth. At His Second Coming, the appearance of Christ in untold majesty, will be seen by the entire earth at once. (Surely you know that time and space are bendable, and that this is perfectly possible for God. Christ does not come down to earth, but catches up the saved, the dead first, then the living, and the living wicked are slain by the majesty of His coming, says the Scripture. This leaves NO room for the false teaching drawn from the ancient prophet that Christ will come down and be seated on the Mount of Olives and there begin to set up His earthly millennial reign. This is a complete misreading of what Revelation says about the millennium. Three movements within Christianity will unify the wicked into a single false power base. This power base will be the very place from which the Antichrist will arise, the better to deceive. FIRST: WE HAVE SAID REPEATEDLY BY THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, WHO HAS OPENED THESE THINGS TO US, THAT THE PAPACY WAS TO COME UNDER JUDGMENT. AND SO IT HAS. But Catholicism is still dispensational, insofar as prophecy is concerned, and the papacy has already bluntly and repeatedly stated the role it expects to play in the developing world-state. These we have shared with you in prior Prophetic Notes. And, as noted in the recent Republican primaries, the ultra-conservative former senator from Pennsylvania, a medieval Catholic, repeatedly decried the fact that MODERN CATHOLICISM IS MUCH MORE LIKE PROTESTANTISM DUE TO THE INFLUENCE OF THE UNITED STATES AND AMERICAN THINKING. Catholics practice birth control and a variety of other things regardless of what the Church teaches. In doing this, they rely on God "overlooking" what they believe is sin, in an obvious "free grace, God is mercy, not justice" way that is so evident in modern Protestantism. In addition, Catholicism relies for political power, ever more strongly upon the good will and close ties with Protestantism. In social issues such as homosexuality (let the reader understand), abortion, Sunday sacredness, the diluted Catholicism, both in Europe and the Americas, draws closer and closer politically to its once hated foe, Protestantism. SECOND: PROTESTANTISM IN THE MODERN SENSE HAS DEVELOPED INTO TWO CAMPS. One is liberal Protestantism, the social gospel Protestantism, where one acknowledges the social teachings of Jesus as their guide for life while failing to acknowledge Him as the divine God incarnate and their personal Savior. This brand of liberal Protestantism has been fading and losing numbers for decades. The other camp is FUNDAMENTALIST Protestantism, the champion of dispensational errors, and the political power leagued to Catholicism over social issues. Hatred of abortion, homosexuals, and at every falling judgment a call for observing Sunday as a sacred and holy day (of which Scripture knows exactly nothing) pushes these two great religious power blocks ever closer together. THIRD: The third great developing trend is the assumption of Spiritualism, not as a separate occult clan to be shunned as dangerous, into both Catholicism and Protestantism. IT IS THE FALSE CONCEPT OF THE DEAD (BEWARE, LEST YOU THINK YOUR SECT HAS IT RIGHT; IT DOES NOT EXEGETICALLY) THAT UNIFIES THE TWO GREAT RELIGIOUS POWER BLOCKS. Because both champion the horrific idea that God is going to burn the wicked alive for billions upon billions upon billions of years (and then it's only just begun) for whatever happened in forty or eighty earth years) and the equally unpalatable idea that the dead float off to paradise to sit on a cloud with a harp that makes them open to spiritism and is making the modern world one great, constantly in session seance. After all, if grandma was so good, and went to God, is not her situation now BETTER and MORE SPIRITUAL than it was when she was alive? Thus this false doctrine teaches THE VERY OPPOSITE of all that Scripture says about the nature of death and what the dead actual experience in Sheol. So the two great power blocks, ever more directly and openly, seek the dead (forbidden as an absolute in Scripture) for guidance, placing them in the role of God. And, much more significantly, placing the billions of seekers right where the billions of demons can answer their longing by their perfect portrayal of the dead. Every spiritualist medium I ever met (and I have met a host of them) always gives "evidential" readings. Things on the hearer and the departed dead would know are brought forth. Secrets are revealed. Things otherwise impossible to know are acknowledged. We are, after all, talking about mighty angels, though fallen, who have lost none of their immense powers and great memories. Both the hearer and the spirit medium are thus led by occasion after occasion to be convinced they are really talking to the departed dead. It's either "we're fake or this is really grandma" that they present. THE TRUTH THAT IT IS NEITHER, THAT THE "DEAD" LOVED ONE IS ACTUALLY A MIGHTY DEMON, NEVER OCCURS TO EITHER PARTY. Thus we have three great movements, all impelled by Satan, in the shifting way Catholics perceive the truth, the way modern right-wing Protestants perceive the truth, and how all alike perceive the truth. In the very context of the great final delusion, the Lord warned to beware, because false Christs and false prophets would arise and deceive myriads. The false Christs who have so far come will be as nothing compared to what Satan has prepared, as these changing climates of opinion set the human race up for the great final deception. Quote

Moderators Gerr Posted July 8, 2012 Moderators Posted July 8, 2012 Where? In heaven! Why? 1. ‎ESV ‎‎1 Th 4:16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. ‎‎17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Jesus will not set foot on this planet when He comes. The saints meet Him in the air. 2. The earth will be desolate during the 1000 yrs. So why would the saints want to be on the earth at that time? ‎NASB95 ‎‎2 Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. The desolate earth becomes the "bottomless pit" where the demons will be imprisoned for 1000 yrs with no one to tempt and nothing to do except perhaps play the blame game and fight among themselves, Rev 20:1-3 3. But you are correct that the ultimate home of the saints IS the earth. But this does not occur until AFTER the 1000 yrs, when Jesus and the saints return to earth with the Holy City, the New Jerusalem that Jesus promised to go and prepare for them in Jn 14:1-3. It is during time that Satan & his angels will be released. Released, how? Because the wicked dead are resurrected, Rev 20:5, and he has the nations to deceive once again, Rev 20:8. He gathers his army for battle and surround the city, Rev 20:7-9. It is during this time that the Great White Throne Judgment will take place, to show the wicked why they are excluded from God's presence. Then fire comes down from heaven to consume them, Rev 20:9-10. 4. It is after the cleansing of the earth by fire that God re-creates a new heaven and a new earth, Rev 21:1-3. This is the ultimate home of the saints. That was His purpose in the beginning. Quote
Umfundize Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Did you notice in Rev 20:9 that there are saints CAMPING around Jerusalem and in v.13 the SEA is still there? Did you notice in Rev 20:3 that the REASON why Satan is SEALED up, is so he can no longer DECEIVE THE NATIONS? Which nations? The same NATIONS v.8 refers to who will be living ON EARTH at the end of the Millennium! Satan will be prevented from keeping the GOSPEL away from those who never had an opportunity to EVER hear the gospel, like two thirds of the 153,000 people who die all over the world EVERY DAY!. SDA eschatology makes no provision for the billions who went to their graves, and are now living in third world countries who COULD NOT HEAR the gospel, eg a 3 year old baby who died in China. Are those "just lost"? Is it a matter of "too bad they were born in the wrong country"? No, God wants EVERY one to hear the gospel. Right? THAT is the PURPOSE of the Earthly Millennium!. May I urge you to read the final chapters of Adventist Alternative? No one will ever attack the NEW Jerusalem, because it comes down AFTER hell is over and the New Heaven and Earth is established. It that what the BIBLE teaches or not? See Rev 21. Quote

Jer 4:24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. Jer 4:25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. Jer 4:26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger. Samie Posted July 9, 2012 Author Posted July 9, 2012 Hi Kevin; Please see the chart in the OP of the thread entitled "Second Coming & Beyond". The saints go to heaven with the Lord for the Wedding of the Lamb. But they will return back to earth with Christ and the armies of heaven for the battle of Armageddon. It's there in the chart. You can post your comments there for any inconsistency you think it has against what Scriptures say. As to the Millennial stay of the saints on earth with Christ, I have placed in the chart in the OP of this thread the Biblical basis. Post why I could have misapplied or misunderstood the verses I used. Quote

Even a couple of verses will suffice, or even a verse, if that verse directly says the saints are in heaven during the millennium, I guarantee you, I will accept it. But even if you heap up on me tons of verses and then tell me it's the totality of what Scriptures say but nothing in those verses say the saints are in heaven during the millennium, then I would rather stick to what Rev 5:9, 10 & 20:4 say that the saints will reign with Christ on earth for 1000 years. Gerry, Remember that Christ said He will reward every man when He comes according to what each has done (Matt 16:27; Rev 22:12)? Yes the saints will go to heaven with Christ at the 2nd Coming, as their reward. They will be there for the Wedding of the Lamb (Rev 19:1-10), while the wicked on this earth are suffering the 7 last plagues which is the wrath of God, as their reward (Rev 15 & 16). After the Wedding, the saints will come down to earth with Christ and the armies of heaven for the battle of Armageddon, the beast and his false prophet will be captured and thrown alive into the lake of fire, while all the other wicked will be slain (Rev 19:11-21). Satan will then be captured and thrown into the bottomless pit (Rev 20:1,2). Where are the saints? Still here on earth, fresh from victory at the battle of Armageddon. Now why would Jesus bring us back down here to earth that is not made new yet for us to live a thousand yrs with the devil and his angels a pestering us and having to not disturb those graves of the damned. Oh, you think He will make it anew for the devil and his angels to enjoy too and for us to put up with. Man I think not and better yet I know that will not be the case. That thousand yrs then will be as a day then so no worry, you'll get back home here after that first day as a thousand yrs of eternity will be same as with God. Sure us gardeners will be glad to come back and be in our garden of New Eden. But no hurry in paradise and maybe it is in Heaven now and will come back here with us when we come. Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Samie Posted July 14, 2012 Author Posted July 14, 2012 There will be no live people on this planet during the millenium because they will all be dastroyed by the "brightness of His coming," 2 Thes 2:8. Quote

Gibs, I am amazed at your persistent refusal and to ignore continually the question where in Scriptures did you base your conclusion that Jer 4 is the condition during the Millennium. It can only be you have no Scriptural basis at all, and that makes your conclusion a mere ASSUMPTION. Reason why you keep on refusing to answer that question till now. And no one is ignoring John 14:1-3. We will be in heaven for the wedding of the Lamb while the 7 last plagues are poured upon the wicked on earth. Towards the final phase of the 7th plague, we shall, together with Christ and the armies of heaven return to this earth for the battle of Armageddon (see Rev 19). Quote

Sorry, but misuse of the verse, brother. Only the lawless one will be consumed, the verse says. And what do you call the wicked? Lawful?? Quote
Gibs Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 I'm sure that what destroys Satan at His coming will get all those of his too, Satan is tougher than men we know. Here is a further look, 2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 2Pe 3:11 ¶ Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
