Stan Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 My friend over at http://theirmanygods.blogspot.ca has created a lot of traffic to www.adventistan.com, and it is appreciate. There is a thin line between fanaticism and goofiness isn’t there? Either way, some popular speakers are not able to get a visa to Preach in the Kingdom of Adventistan. Moderators lazarus Posted March 15, 2013 Moderators Posted March 15, 2013 LOL, Stan, your Jesuit credentials have now truly been established. Congratulations. I'm rather envious. Stan Posted March 15, 2013 Author Posted March 15, 2013 this is not the first time I have been 'exposed' it is actually getting to be fun. The Jesuit hunters have said that those who have gone undercover in Churches and are true membes of the Society of Jesus (SJ) have to take on those initials in their name. that could never be me.. then hmmm wait a minute... Stan Jensen? What if I am one and no one told me? Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted March 16, 2013 Moderators Posted March 16, 2013 Yes, and he charges Cliff Goldstein with being a Jesuit! Quote Gregory
Moderators Bravus Posted March 16, 2013 Moderators Posted March 16, 2013 How impertinent! C. Goldstein is *much* scarier than a Jesuit! Quote Truth is important
Stan Posted March 16, 2013 Author Posted March 16, 2013 I posted this timely info in post 353672 few years ago.. Quote: HOW to detect a Jesuit who has infiltrated... 1- they take on names that reflect the initials of a Jesuit. (SJ - Society of Jesus) 2 - Their middle initial tells of their ranking. 3 - They usually wear black clothing 4 - They usually have short beards. This has been proven time and time again Stan V Jensen Maybe I should not make light of this,, but I do see the humour in this. M. T. Cross Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Quote: Stan Jensen is selling memberships in the 144,000 for money. ("HONORARY Citizenships still $1, limit of 144,000" (Stan Jensen, The August 2012 Decree, Adventistan.com, 16 Aug 2012)). With pricing like this, Elder Jensen has collected a tidy fortune. "This was supplied by the doctrine of indulgences. The people were also taught that by the payment of money to the church they might free themselves from sin, and also release the souls of their deceased friends who were confined in the tormenting flames. By such means did Rome fill her coffers". (Ellen White, The Great Controversy, p 59) At best you will only get $144,000 dollars doing this. Now thats a nice sum of money but these people are obviously still in the 60's if they think it is a "tidy fortune" You could spent that in one day on a house and still owe. Quote
Stan Posted March 16, 2013 Author Posted March 16, 2013 Yup. Have sold 3 memberships. 2 were family members another was a forum member. I am just rolling in it. After credit card charges I cleared about 60 cents each. Members phkrause Posted March 16, 2013 Members Posted March 16, 2013 Me Too !! Not only is he a brother Jew, but he stands up for what he believes. Just as those that are opposed to him stand up for what they believe! I think he has that same right!! I'm pretty sure he doesn't call anyone opposed to him a "Jesuit." For a Jew to believe in Jesus, well that's just something that those that are not Jewish would not understand, even one teeny tiny bit. Members phkrause Posted March 16, 2013 Members Posted March 16, 2013 Cliff and Kim are good people. Do you know them? I have never met them. Cliff went to my church in NY for a very short time, while I was serving my country during the Vietnam Conflict. My Mom and Dad got to meet him. So I kind of feel like I know him from them, plus reading his article's, I can relate to his thought process. Moderators Bravus Posted March 16, 2013 Moderators Posted March 16, 2013 There was a big grin after my comment about Clifford Goldstein: it was meant to be a gentle and humorous dig, not a condemnation. I disagree with him on a number of points but have considerable respect for both his faith and his intellect. Quote Truth is important
Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted March 16, 2013 Administrators Posted March 16, 2013 I have had some great conversations with Cliff. We have both been working at the GC about the same length of time. When he was editor of Liberty magazine his office was just around the corner from mine. Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. (And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)

BobRyan Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 this is not the first time I have been 'exposed' it is actually getting to be fun.The Jesuit hunters have said that those who have gone undercover in Churches and are true membes of the Society of Jesus (SJ) have to take on those initials in their name. Apparently someone forgot to inform Jorge Mario Bergoglio of that rule for Jesuits. Now that he is above the Jesuit commander in chief - "general" maybe they will revisit that rule? Oh no wait! It was all just a joke! Never mind. :) Quote John 8:32 - The Truth will make you free“The righteousness of Christ will not cover one cherished sin." COL 316.
Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted March 17, 2013 Moderators Posted March 17, 2013 Quote: The ex-SDAs at Spectrum sure love to vilify Goldstein - but I don't find many active SDAs doing that probably because they happen to agree with the doctrines of the church that they attend. 1) There are people who agree with the beliefs that Goldstein holds, but disagree with his "in your face" method of relating to people. Regardless of what you might think of that, it is a valid question that can be raised. 2) Ex-SDAs at Spectrum: My immediate impression is that you are quite ignorant of Spectrum and the people who support it. My evaulation of it is that the majority of those who manage it are active SDAs who strongly support the SDA Chruch. I would also point out that while SPECTRUM does, at times, publish articles that challenge, I find the majority of articles to be supportive of the Church. I wonder: How long has it been since you have actually read an issue of SPECTRUM? Quote Gregory
