Windsor Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Windsor, why is it relevant? Of what eternal value is that I know where the Children crossed the sea? Or which mountain Moses climbed? Or that Wyatt found the ark? Will this increase my faith in Gods word? If my faith is so weak I need a sign, then give me a sign! Those who demand "proof" would not believe though one rose from the dead. Displaying the ten commandments to the world so CNN can broadcast on their evening show will not convince those who already believe. It will lead to a deeper delusion for those already inclined and leave thinking, reasonable men to conclude Christians are carpet baggers at best. Does my salvation rest upon it? No. Do i need this evidence in order for me to believe in God? No. It's simply one of my hobbies. Biblical archaeology is fascinating to me. To think that there is the very spot that the children of Israel encamped or where Moses went up to meet God is incredible to me. My favorite magazine is Biblical Archaeology Review. Others prefer bird watching or collecting stamps. For me, it's Biblical archaeology. Quote Remember Adventists Online?
ClubV12 Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 As long as one can maintain the balance in this, I agree. Fascinating stuff, but be careful, don't loose you common sense. Clearly a large group of people HAVE lost their balance and many have been led into spiritualism. Looking for Wyatt to be resurrected before Jesus comes. Some saying he is a prophet. That is spiritualism and we have the strongest warnings about it from the SOP. Be careful you don't end up being a stumbling block to someone else and inadvertantly send them down that path! The whole story here I liken to the warnings the SOP has given concerning ficton books and how they feed the mind, like candy. Then when the time comes to do some serious studying in the bible, it's not satisfying and takes to much work. Tom Clancy was a great fiction author because the line between fiction and reality lay close together. This is often the same delima the Christian faces, what is truth? What should I do? The lines of truth and error lay very close. Now once you have come out of that darkness of decision, when you look back, you will clearly see the error. You will wonder how you ever thought the two paths were so close. Perhaps this could be a test: Do you believe the locations cited by Wyatt based on the evidence alone? Or is the evidence given weight because you believe Wyatt was led by an angel to the location? Something to think about... Quote
Gibs Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Although this has no support for me of Ron Wyatt, Russell and Colin Standish upheld the findings as true. Many SDA's do not like either men, nor did I agree with them totally but they were in honesty working for truth. I condemn them not nor Ron Wyatt, that will be found out by all bye and bye. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Windsor Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 I am not a Ron Wyatt disciple. Some discoveries I believe and some I don't. For example, I think he is way off when it comes to Noah's Ark. I believe there will be a special resurrection that occurs not long before the ultimate resurrection at the Second Coming of Christ. Whether Ron Wyatt is a part of that only God knows. Gibs Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 He knew the Bible for one thing, a very important requisite. Most at it were not real students of it. There is little bits and pieces in that Word that most do not catch. He found out it was a very dangerous mission to find some of what he found. Any added proof of certain things the scripture reveals is not wanted or warranted in this evil world. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. ClubV12 Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Windsor says, speaking of the "special resurrection", "Whether Ron Wyatt is a part of that only God knows." Windsor, we know for sure, there is no doubt, no question, Ron Wyatt will not be a part of any "special resurrection". He will have no role to play in showing the tables of stone to the world. He is dead, in the grave and he will be raised with ALL the Saints or he will be raised with ALL the wicked. God knows. We know precisely who will be in the special resurrection. Those that pierced Him, those that reviled Him. They will be raised to see Him coming in the clouds of glory. They will be slain along with any other living wicked and then ALL the wicked will remain dead for a 1,000 years. While they wait for the final and last resurrection to receive their reward, death. The special resurrection is one for the most wicked, most vile men who ever walked this earth. Who personally put Jesus to death. They WILL see Him coming! By even THINKING Wyatt MIGHT be resurrected before Jesus comes you have entered into the very form of spiritualism I have been trying to warn people about! Satan may well impersonate Ron Wyatt and Satan may well reproduce the tables of stone. Count on this, when he does, he will state the fourth one is not binding on men! If you THINK Ron Wyatt MIGHT be raised, already, it is gaurenteed you will fall for this delusion. Quote
Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted November 9, 2013 Moderators Posted November 9, 2013 Here is an interesting claim of Ron Wyatt that is presently on the Internet: Quote: In Mr. Wyatt's last visit to the cave he was stunned to see all the rock, boards, and other unnecessary items removed. The furnishings were placed in their proper configuration. Heavenly messengers had cleaned out the cave. The wall in back of the Ark is pure crystal and reflects all the colors of the rainbow. (The heavenly Ark has a rainbow over it.) After seeing the cave cleaned out, Ron's thoughts turned to considering how to open the ark and retrieve the Ten Commandments. This would be a difficult task since the five ft. tall angels and the Mercy Seat were solid gold and would weigh approximately 500 pounds. At this point four angels appeared next to the Ark, but they were in the form of men. They asked Ron to position his video camera to film what was to happen next. The four angels lifted up the top of the Ark and said, "Reach in, take the Ten Commandments out. When a world-wide law is passed forcing men to violate the Law of God, then they will be shown to mankind." Mr. Wyatt handed the 10 C's to one of the angels who placed them on a shelf in the cave along with the video showing their removal. The Ten Commandments are on two tablets of stone and have writing on both sides. They are written in Proto-Aramaic. One of the angels told Ron to take a sample of Christ's blood and have it analyzed. Mr. Wyatt removed a sample of Christ's blood from the Mercy Seat of the Ark in the cave and paid a lab in Israel to do an analysis of the blood. They put the dark dried-out substance in saline solution for 72 hours. Mr. Wyatt asked them to do a chromosome test, but they informed him that he was wasting his money since you can't do a chromosome test on dead white blood cells. They proceeded with the analysis and said, "It's your money." As they began viewing the cells under the electron microscope, they saw cells dividing before their eyes! They could tell it was human blood, but "This blood is alive!" They couldn't believe what they were seeing! They continued with their tests and found the blood to be unique from any other human blood! Each cell contained only 24 chromosomes compared to the normal count of 46 that you and I have. Christ received 23 chromosomes from Mary, and one "y" chromosome from His heavenly Father to designate a male child. Others in the lab were asked to come see for themselves. With tears in their eyes they asked whose blood this was, and Mr. Wyatt replied, "It is the blood of your Messiah." Then they asked who the Messiah was. They began wailing and shouting. No other male human being has ever had this same chromosome count! Christ's blood is alive and unique to prove His divinity to the world before He returns to this earth. When these tests are repeated for all the world to see, everyone will learn that Jesus was more than a preacher, He was and is the Son of God! Seventh-day Adventists believe that those who died believing in the third angel's message as well as those who "pierced Him" will be resurrected before the Second Coming. As I don't know Ron Wyatt's status with God, I can't say whether or not He will be in that resurrection. Quote Remember Adventists Online?
ClubV12 Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 That is true Windsor. The problem comes in that SOME Wyatt followers believe Wyatt will be resurrected BEFORE probation closes in order to take part in a display of the tables of stone. THIS is clearly "spiritualism" as no wicked or Saints will be raised before probation closes! But you can absolutely count on Satan using evil angels and even himself presenting themselves as resurrected Saints, or family members, or great statesman, or whoever you might like to see and talk to. But the dead know not anything, so don't be fooled! At the time of the special resurrection (see my new thread on that subject) it won't make any difference to the salvation of any person on earth. Hence a display of the ten commandments or any other "artifacts" at that time would be meaningless. Quote
Gibs Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 There has been many lies propagated of Ron Wyatt and of his findings. We must not put forth any judgment of Him as only God can judge righteously and He will. He alone is the epitome of love, truth, justice and faithfulness. I wouldn't take much stock in any writings that don't come from the Wyatt museum. Not unless it can be absolutely established Ron authorized it. I doubt strongly if Ron changed the source of the information of his discoveries and testimonies. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. ClubV12 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Note my statement says "no resurrection BEFORE probation closes". There is a special resurrection of ALL those who died under the third angels message AND also kept the Sabbath. That is when those who pierced Him are also raised. This occurs during the 7th last plague, just before Jesus returns. Gibs Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 I wrote the Wyatt Museum and asked them about the material and claims this site is making and on below it is the reply from the official site, http://www.arkdiscovery.com/aoc-2.htm This is not their site! Hello, Gibs, The site you mentioned has misled a good many people. They have posted things that simply are not true and have not posted things that have been confirmed to be true but contrary to what they want to portray. I am sorry for this and I know that Ron would not be happy with what is happening. People love to make the story a “little” more intriguing as that makes more of a mystery, but that is not right. We are going to be held accountable for every thing we speak and teach and promote. Thank you for checking on this and we are Ron’s official site and source of ongoing research. Blessings, Elizabeth Rives www.wyattmuseum.com Yes folks, As far as I know The Wyatt Museum people are still there excavating I believe you will find from their site. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted November 12, 2013 Moderators Posted November 12, 2013 Quote: They have posted things that simply are not true . . . Perhaps that is true. However, my objections, in the past, have been solely based upon statements and written material that came from Ron Wyatt himself, or from his official website. E.G. comments that I have made about Wyatt's alleged discovery of the living shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ came from his official website, while he was alive. It was on his official website that Wyatt once posted an alleged microscopic slide of Christ's blood, and which by observation identified what Wyatt had called life was really Brownian Motion. NOTE: Some years back the alleged slide of Christ's blood was removed from the official website. I assume it is still gone, but I have not looked, recently, for it. Quote Gregory
Gibs Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Greg, I believe it is still there and it was the chromosome count that proved it had to be the Blood of Christ. Anyway if it is a hoax it is one of the best perpetrated. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. ClubV12 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I don't trust the "official" Wyatt website. They've been around long enough, heard enough to know better than to post the more outrageous things Wyatt has said, done and claimed. They have sanitized the website! But still, the evidence is more than sufficient to know the truth of the matter. There are a large number of various testimonies, claims, proofs, eye witness accounts, etc. etc. all over the web. Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted November 12, 2013 Moderators Posted November 12, 2013 Where is the evidence for the chromosome count. When I first saw it on the official website, there was only a chromosome count claim, no evidence. The posted alle ged evidence was of the alleged life shown under the microscope of the blood. What was posted was actually brownian motion, as I have said. Such is not evidence of life. Quote Gregory
M. T. Cross Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 _________believe it or not. From Snope's Quote: PARTING OF THE RED SEA Chariot Wheels found at the bottom of the Red Sea You will be surprised to see proof of Pharaoh's chariot and bones of horses and men found in the Red Sea. Confirmation of the actual Exodus route has come from divers finding coral-encrusted bones and chariot remains in the Gulf of Aqaba . ONE of the most dramatic records of Divine intervention in history is the account of the Hebrews' exodus from Egypt . The subsequent drowning of the entire Egyptian army in the Red Sea was not an insignificant event, and confirmation of this event is compelling evidence that the Biblical narrative is truly authentic. Over the years, many divers have searched the Gulf of Suezin vain for artifacts to verify the Biblical account. But carefully following the Biblical and historical records of the Exodus brings you to Nuweiba, a large beach in the Gulf of Aqaba , as Ron Wyatt discovered in 1978. Repeated dives in depths ranging from 60 to 200 feet deep (18m to 60m), over a stretch of almost 2.5 km, has shown that the chariot parts are scattered across the sea bed. Artifacts found include wheels, chariot bodies, as well as human and horse bones. Divers have located on the Saudi coastline opposite Nuweiba as well. Since 1987, Ron Wyatt found three four-spoke gilded chariot wheels. Coral does not grow on gold, hence the shape has remained very distinct, although the wood inside the gold veneer has disintegrated making them too fragile to move. The hope for future expeditions is to explore the deeper waters with remote cameras or mini-subs. GILDED CHARIOT WHEEL - Mute witness to the miracle of the crossing of the Red Seaby the Hebrews 3,500 years ago. Found with a metal detector. Coral-encrusted chariot wheel, filmed off the Saudi coastline, matches chariot wheels found in Tutankhamen's tomb. Mineralized bone, one of many found at the crossing site. This one tested by the Department of Osteology at Stockholm University , was found to be a human femur, from the right leg of a 165-170cm tall man. It is essentially 'fossilized, ' i.e., replaced by minerals and coral, hence cannot be dated by radiocarbon methods, although this specimen was obviously from antiquity. Chariot wheel and axle covered with coral and up-ended. Exodus 14:25 'And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily...' . When Ron Wyatt first visited Nuweiba in 1978, he found a Phoenician style column lying in the water. Unfortunately the inscriptions had been eroded away, hence the column's importance was not understood until 1984 when a second granite column was found on the Saudi coastline opposite -- identical to the first, except on this one the inscription was still intact! In Phoenician letters (Archaic Hebrew), it contained the words: Mizraim (Egypt ); Solomon; Edom ; death; Pharaoh; Moses; and Yahweh, indicating that King Solomon had set up these columns as a memorial to the miracle of the crossing of the sea. Saudi Arabia does not admit tourists, and perhaps fearing unauthorized visitors, the Saudi Authorities have since removed this column, and replaced it with a flag marker where it once stood. How deep is the water? The Gulf of Aqabais very deep, in places over a mile (1,600m) deep. Even with the sea dried up, walking across would be difficult due to the steep grade down the sides. But there is one spot where if the water were removed, it would be an easy descent for people and animals. This is the line between Nuweiba and the opposite shore in Saudi Arabia . Depth-sounding expeditions have revealed a smooth, gentle slope descending from Nuweiba out into the Gulf. This shows up almost like a pathway on depth-recording equipment, confirming it's Biblical description, '...a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters.' (Isaiah 43:16) The Bible writers frequently refer to the miracle of the Red Sea crossing, for it was an event which finds no equal in history. The Hebrew prophets describe the sea at the crossing site as '.the waters of the great deep...the depths of the sea...' (Isaiah 51:10) Knowing the exact spot to which the Bible writers were referring, what is the depth there? The distance between Nuweiba and where artifacts have been found on Saudi coast is about 18km (11 miles). Along this line, the deepest point is about 800m (2,600 feet). No wonder that Inspired writers of the Bible described it as the mighty waters. And no wonder that not a single Egyptian survived when the water collapsed in upon them. Photos: http://www.wyattmuseum.com/noahsark.htm God cares! All this can prove is that the Egyptian army was once there and that they may have been driven into the water. May have it been the biblical Red Sea story? Possibly, but there is no evidence of that given. Quote
ClubV12 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 M.T. I think your assuming some rumored evidence proves the Egyptians were there. I'm not sure I even buy that! Let alone if it has anything to do with a crossing. :) Quote
M. T. Cross Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Fair enough Club, I was going on the idea that there really is the chariot wheels there. And that they could be proven to be Egyptian and of the era in question. So you see I gave a lot of leeway, and it still does not prove much. Quote
