I'll let the Word do the judging.

"And again I (Jesus) say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” Matthew 19:24 NKJV parenthesis mine LHC

God cares! peace

If that is the case,you forgot a few

Proverbs 12:24 does nicely in confirming what Dave Ramsey stated

2 Th 3:10 doesn't say give them a EBT card,it says they are not to eat

Matthew 25:24-30 does nicely in explaining the required behavior of even those that are given the least.

Proverbs 19:15

Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this.

An interesting comment by Warren Buffet in a recent interview about his movement among billionaires to get them to commit, as he and Bill Gates have done, to give away at least half of their wealth - regarding resistence he is finding among some billionaires he said something to the effect that it seems some of them need some education on how to get by on $500 million.

Hardship and sacrifice as a matter of perception...

The article was pointing out the difference in behavior patterns

of those that have been successful and those that are not.

The behavior pattern of Dr. Carson's mother,defying the odds because she demanded different from her children,did not excuse behavior because of poverty

"So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.’”"

Which only seems fair when considering this below and accepting our own desperate need, putting us in the position of having no room to crow.

"You were angry, for we sinned,

We continued in them a long time;

And shall we be saved?

For all of us have become like one who is unclean,

And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment;

And all of us wither like a leaf,

And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away."

Isaiah 64:5-6 NASB

You are still wandering off in another field. I honestly am not sure if you are deliberately implying things that have not been said or if that is what you honestly believe is meant.I hope it is the later.

Which only seems fair when considering this below and accepting our own desperate need, putting us in the position of having no room to crow.

I have not seen anyone crow about anything so that doesn't apply.

No one has claimed any righteous deeds that I know of.

Now that it has been established that the rich are going to hell or most of them and that my personal poverty is all their fault,what do you do with other instruction God has given us.

I can't do a thing about the selfish rich. While it might make me feel vindicated that it is their fault,what does that do for me living better.

If I have a young child so fat that her thighs rub together when she walks is it more beneficial to blame my ignorance on the rich,rather than taking the opportunity and the advantage of FREE education that would help me help my child? Blaming the rich will leave my child just as fat and unhealthy.

Do we ignore the parable of the servant? The one with the least and what God had to say about him. Doesn't hardly seem fair in your view of things that he was dealt with so harshly for his slothfulness.After all he had very little compared to the others. God was not railing against those that had more,but against the one that didn't do anything.

Should we rail against the rich,especially when God has said how difficult eternal life will be for them to obtain?

Or should we make reasonable demands on those that are living off the income of others? Should we expect and demand they take the opportunity to build on the talent or talents they have? Especially when the help is free.

If this was my personal poverty being discussed,I would rather someone cared enough to insist on certain behaviors that would help get me out of the problem,than to make me feel better telling me how the rich are going to hell,after all God says a lot about the rich and the final outcome.
