8thdaypriest Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 MIND MANIPULATION You Samie, believe that unborn children, and infants, and very young children will be admitted to Heaven (the True Tabernacle). I do NOT. The True Tabernacle is for priests ONLY, robed in white. I believe it makes more sense to believe that young children and infants, those who were mentally disabled (and therefore could not CHOOSE, and those who because of circumstances never heard of Yahweh or His Law or His Son will be resurrected into the Kingdom of Christ on this earth, AFTER the preparation of the priests during the 7th millennium. They WILL be admitted to the Kingdom of God, but admitted as mortal beings with physical bodies. They will continue their physical lives. They will "grow up as calves of the stall. They will learn of God and of Christ, and will then CHOOSE to receive Him as LORD and King, or rebel against Him. To grant immortality to young children - without any CHOICE on their part, and without any demonstration of that CHOICE, will require mind manipulation, something which our God does NOT DO. Jesus said, concerning children - "of such is the Kingdom of Heaven". I would agree with that. Those who are raised into the Kingdom of Messiah on this earth, WILL BE children - either literally, or because (just like children) they lacked the information to CHOOSE, or the capacity to CHOOSE - during their lifetimes. "This gospel of the kingdom must be preached to EVERY nation, kindred, tongue, and people - and then the END will come." The gospel has NOT YET been preached to EVERY person on the face of the earth - certainly NOT every person who has ever existed. That will require a resurrection of all those who DID NOT HEAR during the first 6000 years from sin to the SC. My personal belief is that the redeemed from the Second Coming, will have a part in deciding who should be raised at the 8th millennium. Samie, You have said that even the unborn have the capacity to interact with the LORD, on a level which allows the LORD to judge them. I just don't buy that. Every person will be judged on the basis of his/her deeds. An infant has NO DEEDS to approve or condemn. Every sin of a child (or one uninformed) is a sin of ignorance, which is covered by the "continual burnt offering". Quote 8thdaypriest
JoeMo Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I agree with your post above, Rachel. Thanks! Quote

Samie Posted August 29, 2014 Author Posted August 29, 2014 Sis Rachel; I believe that there only two groups among those alive on earth at any point in time: those written in the book of life, and those not written. Those written are pure descendants of Adam & Eve. I believe you and I and all in this forum are among those written. Quote: Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. The above verse says ALL not written in the book of life shall worship the beast. You believe that people gets written only when they enter into a covenant relationship with God. That means all who have not yet entered the covenant relationship are not yet written and therefore as per Rev 13:8 will worship the beast and those who worship the beast God will punish (Rev 14:9,11). So how do you get around Rev 13:8? Quote
Samie Posted August 29, 2014 Author Posted August 29, 2014 Sis Rachel; Sorry if I ask you for Scriptures. You can ask me for Scriptures time and again and I won't get offended. Again, sorry for my asking. I HAVE been giving you Scriptures Samie. You just do not interpret them the same way I do. Jesus did NOT say that all children are "heaven-bound". He said, "such is the kingdom of Heaven". Many interpret this to mean a child-like attitude of trust, is what our God desires. If a child-like attitude is what God desires, then God desires us to have the attitude of a child. If those who have the attitude of a child can make it to heaven, why would that exclude the child themselves who already have the attitude God desires? Quote
8thdaypriest Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. ALL WHO DWELL ON THE EARTH "every nation, kindred, tongue, people at that point in time will include: IN THE BOOK A. Those who belong to Christ because they have responded to His Spirit and have entered into a relationship with Him. These will REFUSE to worship the BEAST. If these people have small children by this time, the children will probably be taken from them. NOT IN THE BOOK B. Those who once belonged to Christ but rebelled against Him and left that relationship (They have forsaken covenant.) C. Those who have never belonged to Christ because they refused the call. D. Those who have never belonged to Christ because they were too immature or disabled to respond to the call. Little kids may "worship the Beast", but such action will be counted as a "sin of ignorance" because they could not understand just what they were doing. Same might be said of a few adults who just never heard the message of the "two witnesses". Those in this D group - who died in the past - will be raised to continue their physical lives at "the 8th day". I personally believe this D group also includes those who could not understand God's love because the church or others badly represented God to them, causing them to reject any consideration of God. Think abused kids. Blessings, Rachel Cory Prophecy Viewpoint Quote 8thdaypriest

Sadly, it appears that there is nothing there regarding your propostion that "Those who grow up to accept Christ as LORD and King will enter the City, and be transformed - receiving immortal spiritual bodies", is there? JoeMo Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Quote: God, Who is not a respecter of persons, wrote the names of Adam & Eve and all their descendants in the book of life. There would be partiality were there but one name not written. Hi Brother Samie, It's been a while. Anyhow, I wanted to respectfully respond to your comment. I believe that God - who knows everything from beginning to end, - could have written down the names of all the saved before the foundations of the world. He already knew what all of us would choose in our future lives at every juncture. That being said, it doesn't restrict our free will. I could quite accurately prophesy (with my limited prophetic gift) with no margin of error that my daughter will never eat beets or peas voluntarily for the next 5 years, barring divine intervention (maybe not even then); and she would never experience the ecstasy of beet or pea paradise. I could write it down and never say a word to her about my prophecy. Then, 5 years from now, I could present her with the written statement. Did I influence her decision? No. Did I predict her behavior, and exclude her from the book of life concerning beet and pea heaven? Yes! Is this an absurd example? Yes! But it is just a physical (and maybe strained) allegory about how God - knowing our every choice and action, could leave us out of the book of life without influencing our choices. He wasn't showing partiality; He was just stating the facts. Do you think God knows everything, or do you think God leaves some things up to chance? I don't think there is anything we could ever do that would make God love us more, or love us less. I think He loves us unconditionally. Yet, to approximately quote a cheesy line from a cheesy movie, "If you love someone, you will set them free." Quote

Yet, to approximately quote a cheesy line from a cheesy movie, "If you love someone, you will set them free." Hi Bro JoeMo; Thanks for your post. My position has always been, unless shown from Scriptures to be wrong, that being written in the book of life does not restrict one from choosing evil or from choosing good. This explains why many will be blotted out from it because they chose NOT to overcome evil with good. We are all free to make our choices. Again, Adam & Eve with all their descendants were all written in the book of life from the foundation of the world. No one was exempted nor left out because there is no partiality with God. Quote

Samie Posted August 29, 2014 Author Posted August 29, 2014 Sis Rachel; You describe those written in the book of life as follows: IN THE BOOKA. Those who belong to Christ because they have responded to His Spirit and have entered into a relationship with Him. Quote
Samie Posted August 29, 2014 Author Posted August 29, 2014 Sis Rachel; While waiting for your response to my previous post: 1. If BEFORE Peter arrived Cornelius' name was already written in the book of life, was it written AFTER or BEFORE his birth? 2. If AFTER his birth, when did the writing APPROXIMATELY occur? At age of reason or before? At his first good deed? What if his first deed at age of reason was not good? Was the writing postponed till he did his first good act? Quote
Samie Posted August 29, 2014 Author Posted August 29, 2014 Sis Rachel; Allow me to continue while waiting for your response. Since your proposition puts a condition before a name is written in the book of life: Question: If Cornelius' name was written in the book of life before the age of reason, what condition is precursory to the writing of his name? Quote
Samie Posted August 29, 2014 Author Posted August 29, 2014 Sis Rachel; If you stand by your proposition, you would say that Cornelius' name was written in the book of life AFTER Peter's visit. Question: Before Peter preached Christ to Cornelius, he indirectly told Cornelius he was accepted by God (Acts 10:34-36). Does it mean that the phrase "accepted by God" includes people who are not yet written in the book of life? Quote

I know of no place in the Word that speaks of putting one's name in the book of life, only of those being removed or taken out of that book, which leads me to believe everyone's name is in the book when conceived and remains there unless or until their name is removed as the result of knowingly refusing the life Jesus offers them. 8thdaypriest Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Jesus said, "All men like sheep have gone astray." The Shepherd goes in search of His sheep. "My sheep hear my voice." It is WHEN one hears His voice, and opens the heart door, that the name is written in THE BOOK. The "lost sheep" responds and turns to follow the Shepherd. The Shepherd then counts His "sheep". Ezekiel 20:37 I will make you pass under the staff, and will bring you within the bond of the covenant. (NRS) We do not know WHEN Cornelius opened his heart door. That's not something we humans can "see". It is probable that he brought sacrifice to the Temple. Gentiles WERE allowed to bring sacrifices. They just could not enter the court where sacrifice was offered. He would have to send the sacrifice in by another who was circumcised. Who knows. Perhaps Cornelius had actually BEEN circumcised. We don't know. At any rate, I think I said, that the "deeds" are only the outward signs that one HAS opened the door. Persecution of God's people would be a sign that one HAS heard the message, but has NOT opened the door-as yet. Those deeds will allow other human beings to later participate in the judgment of an individual. I need to take a break for a little while. I need to pray about this, and listen for His voice. I'll be back, just not for a few days. Thanks Blessings, Rachel Cory Prophecy Viewpoint Quote 8thdaypriest
