Robert, most people reading your posts probably have some idea as to where you are at.

Your response to my post did not address the issue that I raised.   EGW used the word "attained."  She did not use the word "perfection."  You may be right as to what she meant.  Or, you may be wrong.  in any case, it can be argued as to whether or not you are correct.

My response had nothing to do with attributing stopping sinning to the word perfection.

Then Jesus hated Himself because He took our curse.  He was willing to lay down His life forever (that's the curse) so that His enemies might take His place.  Jesus was willingly to die forever so we might take His place.  That's agape love....What we have is self-love.....

Your inability, or perhaps your desire, to reason is once again showing, Robert.  Jesus treated us exactly the same way He would have wanted to have been treated if His and our positions had been reversed.

This isn't rocket science, Robert.  It's simply applying Christ's own words to His actions.

Jesus was treated terrible.  He was continually hounded by the religious leaders of His day, yet He loved His enemies.

Romans 5:7 For one will hardly die for a just manthough perhaps for a good man someone would dare even to die

8 But God demonstrates His own love (agape) toward us, in that while we were yet sinners (i.e., His enemies) Christ died for us. ...10 For while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son....

It's like someone tortures, rapes and murders your family and you, out of agape, take this monsters' punishment, so he can have heaven in your place.

Tell me how many people would do that?

Answer:  Zero!

Jesus is a people. That's One.

26After eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said, "Peace be with you." 27Then He said to Thomas, "Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing." 28Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"…John 20
