Instead he is the chaplain of the U.S. senate. That is like ground zero for politics. So, if he participates in one march or demonstration i can understand, all things considered. Being a military man, I am sure Admiral Black consulted his superiors and got authorization before he participated in this event. Knowing how the Relgious Right and the Vatican have mixed politics and the gospel and thus created all kinds of prejudice against Christianity by so doing, it just makes me cringe when I see leaders in God's remnant going down that road. I haven't seen anyone in this thread claim racism doesn't exist. Maybe I missed that. I think I shared that where I live, whites are less than 10% of the population and because my bi-racial son has fair skin, he has been picked on by the dark-skinned majority over the years. There have been times that he has come home crying and other times where he has gotten angry at me for "giving him white skin". I suspect more damage has been done by the brand of Christianity that has stood idly by in the face of injustice. Standing up for justice is a Biblical concept. Leaving that work to others is not. Or the one cited by Lazarus who may be part of the press that has a left-wing agenda like Hollywood and most of the secular universities today? The Biblical principle, as you well know, is to accept the "truth" established by 2 or 3 witnesses. Twelve jurors that included 3 blacks considered the testimony of "some 60 witnesses", and I'm supposed to prefer what one reporter is saying? If the prosecutors deliberately introduced witnesses with fraudulent testimony, then let the world know. Let the federal prosecutors reviewing the case bring it to light. (Cases like this makes the Investigative Judgment more and more sense!) Quote
