Man, BECAUSE of his free-will, can either CHOOSE or REFUSE to believe in Christ. The CAPABILITY - power, energy, strength - to choose is FROM Christ because man is In Christ. How to USE the capability or to refrain from using it, depends on man because of his free-will. Quote

Assuming this, how did you the individual die with Christ when He died just about 2000 years ago? I have shown from the Bible that if ONE died for all then ALL died and that the ALL refers to every man, and that includes me and, yes, you, too. I simply believe what the Bible says. I can't force you if you don't and won't believe what it says in this issue. Scriptures say that Jesus carried all sins - and that obviously include the 20th century sins including mine - in His body on the cross (1 Pet 2:24). How? God fashioned humanity (with its sins) into the body of His Son on the cross thereby creating the New Man: Christ - the Head, humanity with its sins - the body (see Eph 2:11-19). When the Head died, the body likewise died. Hence, as Scriptures say, if one died for all then all died. Quote

They meet again nevermore to part. But many of the little ones have no mother there. We listen in vain for the rapturous song of triumph from the mother. The angels receive the motherless infants and conduct them to the tree of life." We have to remember that in that statement, no mention is made of the father, and yet infants do start with two parents. It is certain that Mrs. White is here focusing on the mother, and neither the infant nor the father, but is appealing to a mother's heart in that she should be there to receive her little one. The statement does not indicate that the child should be saved regardless, for in fact, other statements indicate we cannot know if the small children will always be saved. Some questioned whether the little children of even believing parents should be saved, because they have had no test of character and all must be tested and their character determined by trial. The question is asked, "How can little children have this test and trial?" I answer that the faith of the believing parents covers the children, as when God sent His judgments upon the first-born of the Egyptians. . . . {LDE 293.2} Whether all the children of unbelieving parents will be saved we cannot tell, because God has not made known His purpose in regard to this matter, and we had better leave it where God has left it and dwell upon subjects made plain in His Word.--3SM 313-315 (1885). {LDE 293.3} Quote

You and I have been over this at least 50 times here at CA. I post my belief that all children will be resurrected after the 1000 years, to grow up in the kingdom ruled by Messiah and His priests. They will then have to CHOOSE whether to serve Jesus Christ or the Evil One. Your thread concerned children, so I posted my belief concerning children. I do NOT believe they get a FREE PASS to eternal life, simply because they died as children. I do NOT believe that my God will manipulate the minds of children (and pagans who died in ignorance) to ensure their eternal harmony with His law. I believe that dialoging with you on this subject simply gives you a platform to preach (what I believe is) a false gospel. By the same token, it gives me the opportunity to tell folks about my belief concerning "the rest of the dead" and the 8th millennium (The 8th Day) - a belief NOT in agreement with SDA/EGW writings. Folks here at CA probably think of us as just two false teachers, preaching past each other. Quote 8thdaypriest

You deliberately forget or simply ignore the other verses I provided? The doctrine you must be referring to is my position that people are born In Christ. For starters, read this OP, and count the verses. Quote
