This is an acrylic painting I did with craft paint (the kind that comes in a bottle) on top the woven table tray we take camping with us. We were parked under the REDWOODs with our Chalet camper, and of course had to memorialize the occasion.© LynnDel

I am somewhat active on the Wet Canvas website, where there are dozens of subforums for all kinds of art media that match the "wet canvas" description. Every week there is an All Media Weekend Drawing Event, where a dozen or so photos are shared, you pick one, and you have two hours to finish your piece and share it. This is a quickie ink-and-wash I did of a UK farm. Most watercolor artists, I've noticed (both on Wet Canvas and on Facebook), seem to come from the UK, Indonesia, and eastern Europe. I read Wikipedia on Nix v. Hedden. "The Court's unanimous opinion held that the Tariff Act of 1883 used the ordinary meaning of the words "fruit" and "vegetable", instead of the technical botanical meaning." Money talks. If more taxes can be collected on a vegetable, which was the case, tomatoes must then be a vegetable.2 points -

Watercolor is another hobby. Maybe one of these days I will be able to make enough to pay for the supplies. This is one of my efforts from a few months ago. I used Sonnet watercolors on the cheaper Canson paper, 9x12 inches. The reason I got started on this watercolor track is Gail Steel! We started doing a little "together" (online tutorials) a couple years ago, but I foundered and didn't really get going until last summer. Thank you for the inspiration, Gail!© LynnDel

This was a plant that I used to have. It is a drawing that I actually drew. The leaves are all combinations of just two colours, Sap Green and Payne's Grey. I suppose that I can draw but it is a slow process for me. I have more fun laying down the colour© Gail Steel
