Students should be attending to what the teacher is saying or showing. They are there to learn not engage in socials. Responsible teachers are looking for long-term results; results that carry a person through life. Ultimately, the student should learn to control his behaviour out of desire to learn and grow, not merely out of fear of disciplinary action. Metaphorically, the teacher represents Christ; the student--His child. It is Christ's desire that we learn to live our lives doing all that is good; shunning all that is evil. He does not teach us to live this way through fear; rather, He teaches us through love. Quote

No amount of sermons and preachings could change his mind. Only a good spanking would be really nice. Hey, it worked on me. I have gotten beat by belt,thorn whip, poison ivy, and hand. It worked on me. Since then I don't do anything bad. And even though I know they can't do anything even though if I did do something bad. But it stuck to me and it helps. Also if you noticed Romania and North Korea. Romania used to be communist until 1989. North Korea is still communist. Observations by me and others and also surveys. North Koreans (And South but not as much as North.) are one of the smartest peoples of our time. Why? Their parents teach them a lesson when they do bad things or get bad grades. Same for Romania, well not so much anymore but still. We used to get beat in class if we did not do our homework and did not listen to our parents. Not trying to brag about Romanians, but I have noticed most of them are extremely smart. Don't believe me? Do you think someone could be able to hack NASA as if it were nothing? Ha. I got jokes. An environment where other students are quietly texting away does not constitute a disruptive environment by any means. An environment where legal authorities are called in to remove a student from school does, however. Quote
