There is no reference in any of God's Feasts that the seventh day of the month is relevant. On the Day of Atonement, the tenth day is relevant, and on Passover, the fourteenth day is relevant, which is a day of preparation, a day to "WORK" and therefore EXCLUDES such divisions of the days of the month to be the determining factor as to WHEN a week begins. Certainly, the week is not determined to begin on the "SECOND" day of the month. As far as "LUNAR" Sabbatarians go, I believe that they belong on another planet, and therefore do not merit my communication with them. If your "seventh day" reference was a subtle hint of "LUNAR" Sabbaths, I am not interested in any such discussion. I have seen and read all that Ms French and others have written and it is all folly.

The woman of Rev. 12 is the Holy Spirit. The 'moon' represents the Kingdom of Heaven on earth that reflects the light (glory) of God when God's glory isn't to be found.

This woman could not be the church because the church was not around when Jesus was born and can't give birth to itself anyway. Neither was the church ever in heaven. And besides, Jesus is coming back for his bride, not to marry His Mother! Why people ever thought the woman was the church is beyound me! It is a stupid and silly thing to believe that!

It also was not Mary because Mary was never in heaven and also is not around to give birth to those found in Rev. 12:17. The ONLY woman this can be is the Holy Spirit who gave birth to Jesus and will give birth to those who become sactified as found in Rev. 12:17.

Along with the concept that some have identified the woman as the Apostolic church, is that the twelve stars that are about her head are also NOT the twelve apostles, for the same reason; they were not present at the birth of Christ. They represent the twelve tribes of Israel. But as the woman representing the Holy Spirit??? While it may be that the moon reflects the light of the SUN, the woman is neither the SUN or the MOON, but stands between them. The woman represents the people of God... at the time depicted in the vision.

I think we are making this topic far more complex than it needs to be.

  • And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. (Isaiah 66:23)
Now compare the above with the following:

  • In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (Revelation 22:2)
To me it is quite suggestive that every month the nations of God will gather near the tree of life to partake of it. This could easily be recognized as the antitypical realization of the monthly feast of Israel.

The most significant thing I understand from the new moons are that they specify when a new month begins, and particularly those months in which Feast days and yearly Sabbaths ocur.

What other significance is there that should be included in observing them?

The biggest impact the "new Moon" statement has in Is 66 is that it proves beyond any doubt that "from Sabbath to Sabbath" is a reference to points in time - not to "daily".
