You have taken it from a "discussion" on sin to a culinary thread. Thats a trick I used to use when I was a moderator on the official Iron Maiden forum. I would post recipes in the middle of flame wars. I thought all that fighting might make people hungery.

You were ? Awesome. FWIW, I am in the fan club, and I am in the Flight 666 DVD and the book ( having been at the barrier for both of the last two tours )

Technically I still am, but since it became a fan club paying member board moderating has taken on an "oh well they paid so they can do what they want" kind of thing. So I don't bother anymore - they have enough people willing to do that.

Thats cool about being in the DVD and booklet - I still have never seen them live. One of my few regrets.

I recommend you do if you can. I saw the 'matter of life or death' tour in Toronto, Somewhere Back in Time in Melbourne and Sydney (twice) and then the most recent tour across Texas ( three times, at the barrier in Dallas ) and then twice in Melbourne including headlining Soundwave ( which is where I am in the photo in the book ). The best live band I've ever seen, every time.

I have had free tickets for the last 2 times they played Vancouver, once I could not get the time of work and the second time was the same day as my daughters High School Graduation.

It kinda breaks my heart LOL

*grin* well, greater love hath no man... I took my daughter to see them last time, actually, she loves them.

New International Version (©1984)

Men do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger when he is starving.

http://bible.cc/proverbs/6-30.htm

There is a similar one about stealing to feed your family.... can not remember what the key word is.

While stealing under any circumstances is still sin, God knows that the thief's motives are not evil. Even most people recognize that there's a difference between stealing because of greed and stealing because of a necessity to fill one's own starving stomach.

Notice the verse doesn't say that stealing is not sin in God's eyes; it says that even sinful humans know that the motive for stealing is important and needs to be considered when weighing a person's guilt.

A perfect illustration of this is found in Victor Hugo's famous story, Les Misérables, about the poverty-stricken thief, Jean Valjean, who spent a lifetime being punished for the crime of stealing a loaf of bread.

John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
