See the beauty and harmony of Scriptures as to the events that are to transpire during and after the Second Coming:

1. Christ had said, when He comes again He will reward everyone according to what each has done:

KJV Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

NASB Revelation 22:12 "Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.

2. The Bible explicitly tells us what these respective rewards are: life eternal for the righteous; wrath of God for the unrighteous:

KJV Romans 2:5-8 5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath

3. The fact that all will be rewarded necessitates that all shall be present to receive his own reward. Therefore, all the dead, both righteous and unrighteous, will be resurrected at the time of the Second Coming:

John 5:28-29 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

This is the reason why the Bible says when Christ comes the righteous will be resurrected first (1 Thes 4:16-17) because the wicked will be resurrected next so that all will see Him come in the clouds and receive their due reward:

Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

KJV Daniel 12:1-2 1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

4. The righteous will then be ushered to heaven to attend the marriage of the Lamb.

KJV Revelation 15:2-4 2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. 3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. 4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

KJV Revelation 19:1-7 1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: 2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. 3 And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. 4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. 5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. 6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

5. Once the righteous have been ushered to heaven, the 7 last plagues will be poured out upon the wicked on this earth:

KJV Revelation 15:5 - 16:1 5 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: 6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. 7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. 8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled. And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

If the 7 last plagues will be poured out before the 2nd Coming, then all the wicked who were long dead will not suffer the 7 last plagues and will not be present to receive his reward, negating what the Lord Himself said that ALL will be rewarded according to what each has done.

But the Lord will fulfill what He said. He can NEVER lie.

In Christ Our Savior & Righteous Judge,

Samie

But none of the above proves that the Saints will be literally standing on the Sea of Glass before the 7 last plagues.

You seem to be subscribing to Jesuit, Dispensational-Futurist ideology.

We have already showed you that after the Second Coming, there are no humans left on planet earth. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

Zephaniah

1:2 I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the LORD.

1:3 I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD.

1:14 The great day of the LORD [is] near, [it is] near, and hasteth greatly, [even] the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

1:15 That day [is] a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,

1:16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.

1:17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.

Anyway, these are warnings to us all Samie. The interpretations you are putting forth are spurious, Jesuitical interpretations, and they ignore the Spirit of Prophecy as well as the past interpretations of our forefathers dating all the way back to the 1st and 2nd century A.D.

I believe that the Adventist eschatological interpretations WILL, after all, pan out EXACTLY as the Lord has revealed them to us.

Samie, please give me the rules you use to understand Revelation. Please note, that things do not happen in order as you think they do, as it was written so that only those with insight would understand. Those on the sea of glass are those who go to heaven AFTER the 7 plagues have occured to those who only take the Mark.

There are three groups that go to heaven, the called, chosen and faithful.

The 144k are the chosen, the called are the 5 wise virgins, the faithful are those who found in Rev. 7:9-16, them being the bride.

Here are the rules, right in the same book:

Revelation 22:18-19

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Just follow these rules and be safe. Don't add nor subtract. Simple, aren't they?

If the plagues are poured out after the second coming then answer this.

Revelation 16: 12-21. “Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the Kings from the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs [miracles], which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame. And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.

It is between the outpouring of the sixth and seventh last plagues by the seven angels, leading up to the battle of Armageddon-the seventh plague, that Jesus reminds His followers that He is still coming as a thief. The seven last plagues must be poured out on the world before Jesus Christ returns like a thief in the night. As with the plagues of Egypt God’s people will be in the land when they are poured out. The land of Egypt had ten plagues poured out on it. The first three plagues tormented both Egypt and Israel but the seven last plagues tormented the Egyptians only. Likewise during the tribulation just before the second advent God’s people will be in the land but the ‘seven last plagues’ will torment the enemies of God only.

Since for the last 4 days, there had been no response to my last posts in the two topics I started, after a two-day lively discussion that resulted in 48 replies for the Pure Gospel & 69 replies for the early Saturday morning resurrection of the Lord, I am starting this one.

I believe that the Bible teaches the 7 last plagues will be poured out AFTER, not BEFORE, the Second Coming.

The 7 last plagues happen before the Rev 19 - 2nd coming and before the Rev 20 "FIRST resurrection" - the resurrection of the "blessed and holy" saints of God. Rev 20:4-5.

In 1Thess 4 we are told that the "dead in Christ rise FIRST" -- and this happens at the appearing of Christ acording to Paul in 1Thess 4 - juat as John describes it in Rev 19.

In John 14:1-4 John explains to his readers that Christ "will come again" and then in Rev 19 he shows his readers just how that happens.

And this is all "after" the plagues of Rev 16.

in Christ,

John wrote several warnings in other places about Jesus coming like a thief, so the coming like a thief is NOT the same event as the coming inn the clouds as everyone will see Him come at that time.

Please notice in Matt. 25:1-13 that the Kingdom of Heaven (the SDA corporate group) do NOT see Jesus come when He comes like a thief! This happens before the time of trouble starts.

You're doctrine is changing Rich. It seems to be morphing a bit, if you will, into something else. I think. But I could be wrong.

My Doctrine? Hmmm? Didn't know I had one. Just doing what Jesus told His disciples to do in Matthew 28:20. Nothing more and nothing less.

Please explain to me how the coming like a thief found in Matthew 24:37-39 can possible be the same event at found in Rev. 19:11-21?

Death knell, for "my interpretation"? Oh, is that so?

First, I don't interpret. I just accept what Scriptures say.

Second, when is the phrase "Behold, I come as a thief" proclaimed? At the time of writing of Revelation, or, between the occurrence of the 6th and 7th plagues as you claim?

I believe the proclamation of the phrase is at the time of writing of the book in order to serve as warning to all.

Revelation 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

If the proclamation is as you claim when, then it serves no purpose because the destiny of all had been determined even before the start of the 1st plague.

Here is a Bible chronological order to look into here on this subject, Jesus speaking here!

Lu 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Lu 21:23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

Lu 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Lu 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Lu 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Lu 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

And you refuse to accept the fact that John is not describing a chronological pattern here, but is having the privilege of looking forward to the end-result of God's people who overcome the Beast. If you interpret the 7 last plagues as coming after the Second Coming, then you are wresting the scriptures and denying the sound hermeneutical rules defined in Isaiah 28:9,10. Scripture with Scripture. I have provided you plenty of scriptures, unequivocally scriptures, which prove without question that the earth is destroyed into one wilderness heap at the Second Coming. So it is you, brother, who is refusing to hear what the Scriptures say. Not I.

You could keep on with your name-calling and accussations. It just proves with whom you are in alliance with.

Revelation 12:9, 10 9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world- he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.

Of course, you could stop if you decide to.

Sammie, while you tried to show how your opinion works, it is wrong. As I said before, one MUST first become one of the 144k to understand what is going to happen. (Rev. 1:1) This is whole book (Revelation) will only be understood by them as they are the bondservants for Jesus Christ who wake up the sleeping virgins before the time of trouble starts. The 'bride' (Rev. 7:9-16) are the ones who are sealed by God because of the righteous acts of the 144k and 5 wise virgins. (Rev. 19:7-8) All of this happens during the first 37 months (new moons) of the 42 new moons during the time of trouble which starts on the Spring equinox of 2016 and ends within 5 days of the fall equinox of 2019--that being the time when Jesus comes in the clouds.

Jesus comes like a thief BEFORE the time of trouble in order to seal the 144k (who fully understand all of Revelation).

Right now the SDA church as a corporate group are the "10 Virgins" who are now spiritually sleeping. The 5 foolish will be those who refuse to give up the false gospel of being saved by grace and becoming righteous by faith. And that's just the way it is my friends! Sure, you probably will laugh at me now, but please don't forget this information when 'it' happens.

Could you please tell me how arrive at this (the part in red above)?

Posted

Also, if you read Psalms 91, you will see that God's people will be protected THROUGH the plagues.

This is typical of your methods. Like many SDA in order to prove your point you are willingly and eagerly taking Scripture out of context.

What brazenness to think we can be fooled by stringing texts together that have no connection whatsoever with each other.

SDA accuse others of doing this yet it is all right for them to do it because anything they do/believe "must" be the truth.

Glad you asked. There was a real reason why God did not make the months (new moons) go evenly into His year. It was so those with insight could use the template given to us in Revelation to know the time. Yes, it's all about time. You can study and do research on this here:

Where in the Bible does it say that only the 144k will understand fully the book of Revelation?

Where in the Bible does it say that the time of trouble lasts for 5 months?

The 'bondservants' found in Rev. 1:1 are the first fruits found in Rev. 14:3-5 who have NO lie in their mouth--therefore they KNOW exactly and fully what Revelation says. Problem is, that few want to know this same thing. Most will not give up their long held mistaken belief to accept this simple truth.

The time of trouble lasts 3 and a half years. The last five months (new moons) are discribed in Rev. 9:1-12. This is when the second beast of Rev. 13 (Satan) is released from the abyss. Up to that time (the first 37 new moons) the first 4 seals are broken in order to get people to question what is the real truth and this is when the 144k and 5 wise virgins help get the bride (the group found in Rev. 7:9-16) ready.

This is also when the 5th seal is broken and the incense is thrown to the earth, the time to make a choice will be over. Those sealed by God will not take the Mark and those who do take the Mark (living) will be the ones who the 7 plagues affect.
