You could keep on with your name-calling and accussations. It just proves with whom you are in alliance with.

Revelation 12:9, 10 9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world- he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.

Of course, you could stop if you decide to.

I didn't realize you were a disciple of Dr. Rich.

27 At noon Elijah began to taunt them. “Shout louder!” he said. “Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened.” 28 So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed. 29 Midday passed, and they continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice. But there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention.

Windsor, do you know what you are saying? Read what Jesus told His disciples to do in Matt. 28:19-20. I have no disciples-as I only parrot the words of Jesus which is the true gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven.

My apologies, if you were referring to Dr. Rich as the new false William Miller.

Second, when is the phrase "Behold, I come as a thief" proclaimed? At the time of writing of Revelation, or, between the occurrence of the 6th and 7th plagues as you claim?

I believe the proclamation of the phrase is at the time of writing of the book in order to serve as warning to all.

...

I believe that the Bible teaches the 7 last plagues will be poured out AFTER, not BEFORE, the Second Coming.

The 7 last plagues happen before the Rev 19 - 2nd coming and before the Rev 20 "FIRST resurrection" - the resurrection of the "blessed and holy" saints of God. Rev 20:4-5.

In 1Thess 4 we are told that the "dead in Christ rise FIRST" -- and this happens at the appearing of Christ acording to Paul in 1Thess 4 - juat as John describes it in Rev 19.

In John 14:1-4 John explains to his readers that Christ "will come again" and then in Rev 19 he shows his readers just how that happens.

And this is all "after" the plagues of Rev 16.

As for Christ's "coming" - we see that in Daniel 7 where in the first instance He "comes to the Ancient of Days" in that chapter.

You see it it in Malachi 3:1-5 where he "comes suddenly"

This is the judgment of God - the same thing we see in Daniel 7.

But there is also the visible coming of Christ to earth itself - in Rev 19 - that follows the Rev 16 7 last plagues.

in Christ,

Bob

Those who cannot believe the 7 last plagues are post-advent likewise cannot believe in a general resurrection during the 2nd Coming where all the dead - both just and unjust - will be resurrected, with the just resurrected first in order of occurrence. They insist only the just will be resurrected, despite what Scriptures say.

Daniel records the general resurrection in this manner:

Daniel 12:1-2 1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

The Lord Himself reiterated this general resurrection is to occur, and in the process explained how many will be resurrected in that hour:

John 5:28-29 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

The apostle Paul also believed in this general resurrection where both the righteous and unrighteous will be resurrected:

Acts 24:15 15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

Despite these clear-cut biblical pronouncements they insist only the righteous will be resurrected in the 2nd Coming. Sadly, the events under the 3rd plague prove their belief is unbiblical.

Revelation 16:4-6

4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

Many murderers of saints and prophets are long dead by now. Yet Scriptures say they will be given blood to drink under the 3rd plague. This proves that the belief the 7 last plagues are not post-advent and that there is no general resurrection is bereft of Scriptural basis.

For, if the 7 last plagues will be poured out before the 2nd Coming then the murderers of prophets are still in their graves and could not be given blood to drink under the 3rd plague.

But, since the 7 last plagues will be poured out after the 2nd Coming and that there will be a general resurrection during the 2nd Coming, then the giving of blood to the prophet murderers to drink under the 3rd plague will find fulfillment.

That there is so much hurling of accusations, argument, name calling and confusion simply demonstrates that none here have gotten or understood the message at the heart of Revelation.

I think you all need to take a break, step outside and take a deep breath of fresh air.

"Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good."

"Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal."

"I love God only as much as the person I love the least."

*Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth.

(And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)
