Guest Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Thanks but, he was grumbling about something there. this is more handsome I think. His name is Mr. Murphy: He's also in charge of security. My apologies to Gail & Stan, and all who have seen these a million times. I couldn't help myself. I tried. Quote

Patrick Lawrence Posted January 22, 2012 Author Posted January 22, 2012 So can we ease back to the topic now Quote http://UROBI.com/
LifeHiscost Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 So can we ease back to the topic now "For many imposters (seducers, deceivers, and false leaders) have gone out into the world, men who will not acknowledge (confess, admit) the coming of Jesus Christ (the Messiah) in bodily form. Such a one is the imposter (the seducer, the deceiver, the false leader, the antagonist of Christ) and the antichrist."2 John 1:6 AMP Not to mention that there are some 2,000 individuals in the world claiming they are Jesus Christ, at least one with a following of 200,000 adherents. God blesses! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
Patrick Lawrence Posted February 1, 2012 Author Posted February 1, 2012 LifehisHost do you mind if we take it over to the new thread I started. This has a timeline of how we got to the theories Walter Vieth talks about. And shows clearly where his sources got their ideas etc. http://clubadventist.com/forum/ubbthread...html#Post519381 Quote http://UROBI.com/
Lysimachus Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Patrick, why are you so passionate about this subject? Can't you talk about something else for a change? Why not spread the Three Angel's Messages for a change, instead of making the world thing all we SDA's do is bash one another? Why not join us in helping us defend the Investigative Judgment? Quote ~Lysimachus (Marcos S.) Why not spread the Three Angel's Messages for a change, instead of making the world thing all we SDA's do is bash one another? Why not join us in helping us defend the Investigative Judgment? Could it be because the Investigative Judgment does not exist and is a false doctrine? The Investigative Judgment is not in the Bible. Quote
Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted February 1, 2012 Administrators Posted February 1, 2012 I suspect the same question could be asked of anyone showing a significant interest, negative or positive, in any topic here. To each his own... If not interested, one does not have to participate in, or even read (unless one is a moderator...), a topic. Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. (And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)
Patrick Lawrence Posted February 1, 2012 Author Posted February 1, 2012 Well I talk about it because I believe it is important. And what I find over and over again is those who mix it with the 3 angels message really know very very little about its origins. And tend to get most of their knowledge on the subjects from conspiracy theory books. And I have also found that many times when given more information they will change their minds on conspiracy theories and see the harm they do. Now I do agree things like the investigtive judgement are true and important. But I find on those kinds of topics it is much much harder to change peoples ideas with information. Any way I do do other subjects but this one is just what I am working on now in my limited time. Quote http://UROBI.com/
jasd Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Note to Patrick Lawrence: Sorry, I'd told you that I would respond to your various charges and concerns with one or two more posts. Sadly, it appears pointless to do so - as all my posts re the matter have been and apparently, wil be deleted. I have posted nothing that cannot be verified by a most casual search of our Public libraries. I defy anyone to show where I have submitted error or falsehood. I have no need to post that which cannot easily be verified. Yet, there are those who are enthusiastic and ecstatic re the reviling of all things Catholic - who censor for fear of the Jews. Seems that that phrase is Biblical, eh? I could have posted much that was favorable to Jews, as there are volumes that could be written pertaining to their goodness and contributions to other peoples; however, there are those sufficient in numbers to have done so - where I was the only voice posting adversarily. Seems, that my small voice, however factual, proves too much. Do you still doubt 'conspiracy'? It is alive and virulent... I held back much that may have been interpreted as harsh, but comparatively is benign. One of the several points I promised you I would post: “Never again!—this time we’ll bring down the Halls of Civilization with us.” You took issue with the fact that I used quote marks. I admitted that the phrase would have been better served with semi-quotes; howver, you'll recognize it as a paraphrase of the Samson Option, which I could provide more exactly using historical sources and referents. The other point I wished to have posted: you recoursed and apealed to the term "La Raza" to counter a charge I'd made. The similitude is non-existent - and might be more likened to an Hispanic PAC than representative to the Hispanic 'race' at large. Summing: I don't really give a fig (confidential and soto voce) that I am so censored - guess that I am too arrogant to be overly concerned with another's smallmindedness; however, I point to its heavy-handedness as indicative that this forum really has no seeming compunction for truths, but rather is too political to credibly represent the Bereans of Biblical scholarship - or any self-styled Biblical Reseach... Kudos to you Patrick Lawrence for putting your thoughts and beliefs 'out there'. So, where'd you disappear? :-( Finally, did you really need the help of the censor to lend credence to your arguments? If so, you need to go back to your source materials... Ahh, the vagaries of getting ancient. So, okay, you have another Veith thread, which was the one I evidently posted to... Small matter, I'll just leave this stand as it addresses several matters that concern me. C'est la vie! Quote
