Sky, read Rev. 11:1 and then verse 2. Notice the difference here? Why?

When Jesus comes like a thief in the night, ALL ten of the virgins (KOH--the SDA church) will be spiritually sleeping and will NOT see Him come. Only a few (Rev. 3:4) will KNOW and be ready, as these few are the 144k, the bondservanst found in Rev. 1:1 and Rev. 14:5. Notice that they are the first fruits? Notice too that they are sealed by God PRIOR to the time the 4 winds are released? Notice too that they are sealed prior to the start of the time of trouble? Therefore, this coming can't be the same as when Jesus comes in the clouds. Check it out, just don't ignor these imporatant information.

Yes, and also Revelation 18 when talking about the fall of Babylon, the first to cry are the merchants of the earth, or the corporations, followed by a long shopping list (we don't usually find long shopping lists in the Bible) of expensive items that if you were to look up where they were from in the ancient world, it came from several geographical sites, something that cannot be done during a time of war. While Daniel says that they shall not cleve one to another, it does not mean that they won't appear to have cleved one to another for a short time, what it means is that this attempt is going to fail. There will be a short time of apperent peace and prosperity with the world united by the antichrist, and Satan's impersonation of Christ encouraging us to go along with the system. We are right now facing crisis, while the corporate loving Republicans and using methods used by tobacco companies to say that tobacco does not cause cancer to say that there is not global warming. We are facing global warming. There is a section of plastic larger than the US and Canada in the middle of the pacific and sea life that goes into it get small shards of plastic that cut them up inside and of course they are breathing plastic and not water so no oxigen. It appears that by 2045 that life in the seas will die. We are having the world unite under the corporations with governments giving up their powers to the corporations. Every major candadate, except for Ron Paul, are simply representatives and frontmen of the federal reserves and the business community, so that unless voting for Ron Paul, no matter who you vote for it will carry on business as usual.

We are seeing the structure coming into place. As we face the upcoming crisis of global warming and the death in the seas and other probems, there would be the insentive to turn to the antichrist to help us through this. People will be decusing the issues. Every character will be fully developed either like Christ or like Satan. There will appear to be a short time of the antichrist being successful, and we will have "Jesus" living among us to help guide us and a period of peace and prosperity such as never before only for it to suddenly end in chaos. The blame will be placed on those who refused to go along with the system and we will face the death decree.

I believe that the evidence is that the world is older than 6,000 years and dissagree with the 7,000 year theory. For the 7000 year theory to work we have to have the manuscrips that became the masseritic text be the corroect one of all the options of ancient manuscrips, and that it had absolutely correct guesses as to how to translate, and that you had to remove the authors from their historical context and place them into more of a modern Greek context where the generations include everyone and not have the different skips that were in that culture, which I've talked about in earlier posts and that you can read about in Ministry magizine from the spring of 1984.

Also you would need to have Moses and the editors of Leviticus and Deuteronomy forget the day-thousand year cycle as they give us the list of cycles that we were to use in Bible Study.

Also you have to take Peter's "A day is like a thousand years" out of it's context and have it replace the guidelines that Leviticus and Deuteronomy told us to use. The word translated "Thousands" did not always mean what we understand as thousand. The original definitioin was either a military fighting group or a family group, and these group sizes were approxamately 10, give or take. Eventually an emperor with a huge army instead of having fighting units of approxamately 10 to a unit had increased his units 100 time larger than the typical unit and thus we got the number.

But also in Peter's day "Thousand years" was a popular collucal that means all the time needed. Teachers sometimes needed to rush and cover a subject, but other times they could just relax and take all the time needed to ask any question and to make sure that their students really and thorally understand. This is the meaning of "Thousand years" in Revelation. It does not necessarly mean that there will be a literal thousand years between the second coming and third coming, but that there is plenty of time for, well, on earth, Satan and the demons to think about what they did, but also for us to ask about questions in our life, to really understand what happened. Whether this time can be covered in a couple of months or two million years, God is giving us all the time in the world to ask and understand, no rush, we have a thousand years.

And thus for Peter. He is not sayig that Leviticus and Deuteronomy were wrong and giving us a new cycle. But was saying that from God's perspective he is timeless so that what seems like a day for us is what a thousand years are like to him. Also that a day is pleanty of time for him to do what ever he needs to do. We should not read more into Peter than his context allows us to do. The cycles we need to turn to Leviticus 23 and Deuteronomy. 1844 was based on using the cycles of Deuteronomy. We need to use this cycle more in our study and understanding. Now I don't know if this will mean anything or not, but studying the cycles, but do you know how many Jublee years there has been? I know there is debate over the 1450 BC exodus and the 1200something BC exodus. I understand the 1450 to be the correct one. Thus you would start they cycles with the fall of 1450, and don't have the 0 year. Daniel with another part of the cycle and giving a starting date of the decree to rebuild and restore Jerusalem, to have 70 cycles of Sabatical years for Israel in the land. In 2050 we will have had 70 cycles of Jublees since 1450 BC. Of course Jesus says those days shall be shortened. We are seeing the formation of the great word wide corporate state, instant communication, the sea at risk of loosing all life by the 2040s and global warming. Could this be the final cycle?
