Whether he's stuck on a desert island or living it up in Greenbow, Ala., Tom Hanks' films have grossed the most of any actor, according to Comcast.

Which President served for the shortest length of time?

WHH

Answer: William Henry Harrison served the shortest term of any U.S. president. Only 31 days after assuming office, William Henry Harrison, the ninth president of the United States, died of pneumonia. At his inauguration on March 4, 1841, a bitterly cold day, Harrison declined to wear a jacket or hat, made a two-hour speech, and attended three inauguration balls. Soon afterward, he developed pneumonia. On this day in 1841, President Harrison died, and Vice President John Tyler ascended to the presidency, becoming the first individual in U.S. history to reach the office through the death of a president.

STAR TREK

Answer: Nichelle Nichols is the actress that played Lieutenant Uhura on Star Trek. Nichols’s portrayal of Uhura marked the first time American television viewers got to see a black, female character who wasn’t a stereotype. However, after the first year, Nichols decided to leave the show. That's when she met Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. You see, Dr. Martin Luther King was a huge Star Trek fan. King convinced her not leave the show because of what her role meant to African Americans. Nichols reconsidered her departure, and remained in her role until the show's end in 1969.

Which of these represents a perfect SAT score in Roman numerals?

Answer: Roman numerals, the numeric system of ancient Rome, uses combinations of letters from the Latin alphabet to signify values. They are composed of seven Latin letters. They are, in this order, from lowest to highest: I (one), V (five), X (ten), L (fifty), C (one hundred), D (five hundred), and M (one thousand). The number zero does not have its own Roman numeral. The maximum score on the SAT is a 1600. To convert 1,600 to Roman Numerals you need to split it up into place values (ones, tens, hundreds, etc.) You then combine the values together to get MDC.

TOKYO

Answer: The history of the city of Tokyo stretches back some 400 years. Originally named Edo, the city grew into a huge city with a population of over a million by the mid-eighteenth century. Throughout this time, the Emperor resided in Kyoto, which was the formal capital of the nation. The Edo Period lasted for nearly 260 years until the Meiji Restoration in 1868, when the Tokugawa Shogunate ended and imperial rule was restored. The Emperor moved to Edo, which was renamed Tokyo. Thus, Tokyo became the capital of Japan.

CONFUCIUS

Answer: Confucius was an influential Chinese philosopher, teacher and political figure known for his popular aphorisms and for his models of social interaction. One of the most frequently visited landmarks in Chinatown is the 15-foot bronze statue of Confucius. Sculpted by Liu Shih, the statue was presented by the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association as a token of appreciation, and to commemorate the U.S. bicentennial. At its base, a Confucian proverb is inscribed aside an American Flag, praising a just government with remarkable leaders of wisdom and ability.

Liberty Steaks

Answer: When war broke out with Germany in 1917, a wave of anti-German hysteria swept across the country, and everyone was eager to distance themselves from German loyalties. The names of German foods were purged from restaurant menus; sauerkraut had been renamed “liberty cabbage,” while hamburgers became “liberty steaks”. Frankfurters, obviously a very German name, was deemed unacceptable during World War I. In some places they were called “liberty sausages,” but it was another term that stuck—the hot dog.

FEERGIE

Answer: Before she was the famous star of the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie was studying dance and trying to make a name for herself. Her entrance to the entertainment world wasn’t through singing or dancing, but voice work. As a child in the 1980s, Ferguson was the voice of Sally Brown in two made-for-television Peanuts cartoons, It's Flashbeagle, Charlie Brown (1984) and Snoopy's Getting Married, Charlie Brown (1985), as well as on four episodes of The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show. According to Fergie, there are many similarities between her and the "Sally Brown" character.
