And it is up to that/those women who bore the kids and the man/men who fathered them to instruct and teach them in 'the way they should go' so that they can produce fruit fit for the kingdom. Under God, of course.

Do you think it is wrong to smile at the doings of young children, Robert? With my own kids, I found a smile or a gentle laugh often defused the situation without further strife. The instruction in the rights and wrongs can come later when their mood is more receptive.

One of the funniest things I found in the picture was that my wife has had this picture on the wall in one of the rooms in our house for many years and there has never been anyone who found offense in it. It seems that the visions of one's head are often extrapolated onto the supposed experience of others. I believe it's termed "evil surmising", well accepted by some as a rule of religious experience, just the opposite of___

Here's an accurate translation: "bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."

Read it Robert - I said 'fruit fit' and obviously in Christ. Is it necessary to spell out every nuance in every post?

Whatever are you getting at, Robert? What is there in that picture that makes you so sure they are jealous? What makes you think that the girl on the right IS, in fact, jealous? She could be just watching!

We have all this talk and surmising about a picture of three innocent children -- surmising about what the children are doing, thinking, etc. Surmising about what other club members are thinking.

Jesus said, "Let the little ones come unto Me, for of such is the kingdom of God. We could learn many lessons from just watching children at play, not trying to psycho-analyse a picture of them, and promounce them sinful.

Remember, Jesus said that we should all become as little children -- happy, innocent, trusting.

"Grace is God doing for us, in us and through us that which He requires of us but which is impossible for us to do in or for ourselves."

But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." 2 Cor. 12:9.

and the little girl turns toward the voyers and says..

"it was just a kiss"

That perspective changes EVERYTHING-suffering and adversity are the means that makes us hungry for GOD. Disapointments will wean us away wordly occupations. Even sin(when repented of) becomes a mechanism to push us closer to HIM as we experience His Love and Forgiveness.

I have been following this thread with a certain amount of amusement and dismay. I just took another look at the picture, and I think that the "other" little girl is probably thinking....."Yuck, kissing a BOY???" Remember, that is the age when children generally think that the other sex has "cooties" and that they must avoid one another at ALL COSTS!!!

I remember when my sister (who is 2 years younger than I am) and I were about that age in kindergarten @ Sabbath School. There was a cute little boy in our class, and my sister went and sat on his lap!! During SS!! I thought that that was scandalous. And, no, I wasn't jealous, just thought that she shouldn't have done that!! So, I agree with Beryl, it is just a picture, let's not make too much of it.

My 2 cents :2cents:

Morning Glory

You're kidding..."innocent"? Maybe ignorant, but not innocent. We like to think of our little ones that way, but the Bible doesn't present them as you do.

The thing about small kids is they aren't hiding what's really inside. Their selfishness shows.... The girl in that picture is showing her true self. Who are you kidding?

Okay, so I went back and looked again....Nope, she's not disgusted...she's mad/angry because the boy isn't paying her attention. I think that's called jealousy.

I bet you never dreamed that one picture could stir so many people, Stan! And after all the talk, we have arrived at the conclusion that the original header is accurate

This is a meaningless quote to those below the age of accountability. They haven't been "born again"! Everything they do is from selfish motivation (fear and/or reward). That’s why parents bribe them….

I dont know where you come by these wild statements Robert. I have five children and I have grandchildren and great grandchildren and I cannot agree with your assessment. Children, if raised in a happy and loving home, put to shame many of the "born again christians" for simple unselfish love. Unless ye become as little children ..........
