Robert Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 6 minutes ago, Samie said: "Remain in Me" implies the person is already In Christ. But you teach that people are born APART from Christ. How can they "remain in Christ" when they are yet APART from Him? Again, out of context. Can you do anything within context? John is not discussing the unbeliever...he is discussing the believer.
Robert Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 3 minutes ago, Samie said: But you teach that people - while yet APART from Christ - need to first believe, to first EXERCISE faith which is fruit of the Spirit only those NOT apart from Christ can bear. Hence by teaching that people need to first believe - exercise faith, you are implying those APART from Christ already have faith. And that's your context I said you concocted. Quote Ad nauseam already.... Ditto

Believers are those who already have faith they used for believing. They are already in Christ. But you are saying that those still dead in sin can believe, and hence you are saying they already have faith while yet an unbeliever.
Samie Posted May 28, 2016 Author Posted May 28, 2016 If you want me to stop pointing out your erroneous doctrine, stop propagating your doctrine.
Samie Posted May 28, 2016 Author Posted May 28, 2016 I'll allow you to turn the tables around. Question me on where you said I am in polar opposite with what the Scriptures say and I won't resort to complaining about "ad nuaseam". I'll wait. That's the only way we can put a stop to my pointing out polar opposites in your doctrine.

I can't make sense of your thought process....Sorry..
Samie Posted May 28, 2016 Author Posted May 28, 2016 Just now, Robert said: I can't make sense of your thought process....Sorry.. OK. No problem if you can't. Again, I'll allow you to turn the tables around. Now, what's the first polar opposite you consider my position has against what Scriptures say?
Robert Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 10 minutes ago, Samie said: Question me... Are you in heaven or are you here on earth? Please answer the question. If not, I'm done because I can't make sense out of nonsense. Waiting...
Samie Posted May 28, 2016 Author Posted May 28, 2016 Nonsense. I'm waiting for the first polar opposite.
Samie Posted May 28, 2016 Author Posted May 28, 2016 hooo...hummm... Are you still there, my brother?
Samie Posted May 28, 2016 Author Posted May 28, 2016 And please, let's stick with one issue at a time; I mean one polar opposite at a time need to be discussed to its logical conclusion.
Robert Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 16 minutes ago, Samie said: I'm on earth. So what? Then you (i.e, the individual) aren't "in Christ"! Col 1:13 "For He (God) rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son (i.e., heaven), 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." NASB Eph 1:6 "...And (God) raised us up with Him (Christ), and seated us with Him in the heavenly places (i.e, in heaven) in Christ Jesus..." NASB

NASB Eph 1:6 "...And (God) raised us up with Him (Christ), and seated us with Him in the heavenly places (i.e, heaven) in Christ Jesus..." NASB But where's the polar opposite? As in, Scriptures say vis-a-vis Samie says. The Scriptures you provided say the same thing Samie had been saying: We are In Christ. Your problem is you can't believe I am In Christ Who is in heaven because I am on earth. But your argument is with Scriptures who says people died with Christ and made alive TOGETHER with Him. NOT with me. Again, I'll wait for the first polar opposite.
Robert Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Just now, Samie said: Your problem is you can't believe I am In Christ Who is in heaven because I am on earth. Then there are two Samies?
Samie Posted May 28, 2016 Author Posted May 28, 2016 1 minute ago, Robert said: Then there are two Samies? Where's the polar opposite?
Samie Posted May 28, 2016 Author Posted May 28, 2016 What you have shown is NOT a polar opposite. Instead, the verses say what I am saying, and therefore showed the polar opposite your doctrine has.
Robert Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Just now, Samie said: Where's the polar opposite? That wasn't an answer to my question. Are there two Samies - one down here on earth and one up in heaven in Christ?
Samie Posted May 28, 2016 Author Posted May 28, 2016 There's only one Samie who is discussing with you here at CA. But this Samie, Scriptures say, God has seated up among others in heaven with Christ. You have a problem with that? Then question the God of Scriptures, Not me, Samie. Again, where's the polar opposite my position has?
Samie Posted May 28, 2016 Author Posted May 28, 2016 Here’s another sample of a polar opposite: Scriptures say: God has seated us in heaven with Christ. Robert says: We are on earth, therefore we are not in heaven with Christ.
