As to what "love does," I do not presume to know what you have experienced.

Can the devil pose as your protector for a few decades? It seems likely to me. The old serpent has patience.

LOrd of all, you love Nico and everyone on this forum more than we can imagine. Plese manifest your power and your love in Nico's life, in Pam's life, in my life, and in the lives of all those who read these words.

You have given us a spirit of love, and not of fear, and your mere Presence drives out all darkness and demons and powers that oppose you. So we ask for your presence on this thread, and in our lives. May we rejoice in your power, in your love. Not because we deserve it, or merit it, on the contrary, we know we do not.

We ask because of our great need, and because you are eager to give us good gifts.

We thank you for your everlasting love and watchcare over each one. We know that if "God be for us, who can be against us?" And the answer is, nothing can stand before you.

Finally, we ask for a sense of peace in our lives. We know the foe wants to frighten us, to discourage us, and cause us to despair.

Agreed, Nico: please stay here. I don't believe silencing you was Ed's intention: he is praying for you in spirit and in truth, I'm praying alongside him (even though we disagree so vehemently about some other things!) and I know there are others praying for you. If we fail to understand you as you need to be understood, that's our failure and we're praying for God (who understands you absolutely) to make up our lack.

Although I've never been into the occult at all, several years ago I was hearing inner voices of despair, telling me I was beyond hope, and even that I was not sincere in my desire to serve God.

It was that experience that taught em that the voice of despair is NEVER speaking for God.

Last night I received several PM's indicating that Satan was "lurking very near" this thread. The purpose of the scripture and my prayer was to make it safe for all.

I may have been mistaken in my actions, but they were not at all intended to silence you.

Your heart-cry, and the last question about "love is as love does" stirred me deeply. If my replies are not helpful, then ignore them.

Remember that in the Bible the demoniacs who were freed by Jesus Himself were done so with violence from the demons who held them prisoner. Those inside the 2 men who lived with the tombs begged to be sent into the swine in order to destroy the village's livelihood. In this way they hoped that Jesus would be driven out

Satan does not give up willingly, and he doesn't care whom he destroys

I thank the Lord that He is the LIFE, the Way and the Truth. He is the Creator of the universe and all will bow before Him

Yes. That. The not sincere thing. Did it mindjob you to hell and back? It's like an endless loop: "well OK then, if that's the case, I repent of being insincere!" "Well you're not sincere about that, so it doesn't count." Multiply by infinity ad infinitum.

But you have never been one with Satan, have you Ed. I have wrestled for years uncertain whether I am simply the chosen Consort of Satan -- hand selected by Him mind you, He sought me at a time when I wanted nothing to do with Him -- or whether I am, in fact, the Infernal Majesty Himself taken flesh, gazing into the pool of his reified anima, enraptured like Narcissus.

And you simply don't know what that's like. To live that. To feel that. To be that.
