If we walk in the Spirit, then we will not gratify (fulfill) the desires of the sinful nature because you can't do both.

Psalm 34:7 ? The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and rescues them.. (CSB version)

and in NIV: The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them.
