The picture was made with a digital camera, Finepix S 5000, at the Water Garden in Denver Botanical Gardens: http://www.botanicgardens.org/pageinpage/home.cfm It's one of the largest and most beautiful Botanic gardens I know of. It was made about high noon, not usually the best time to photograph, but this time it worked to my advantage because having the sun directly overhead accounts for the clear view in the water beneath the lily pads. I edited the photograph using the Filter in the PhotoShop Elements. I hope it would do Claude Monet proud. By the way, I have a friend who is doing some of the same kind of work in Denver that I am doing in LA. Right now he's working all along Colfax Ave., which I believe is the longest "main drag" in America. I plan to go there in August to photograph during the Democratic convention.
