She was just a little girl living in Portland, Oregon, when Mrs. White made two visits to that city; one in May 1880, and a second, in June 1884. She said Ellen White slept at least one night in their home while in the Portland area. With so many Hispanics there having Catholic background, this type of mural will catch their attention, and then perhaps they'll study it long enough to understand the deeper meaning. There are four major missions close by where she could stay at night but she prefers living on the streets. She was across the street from "Brenda," pictured in the previous posted photograph.
