He recently retired. But you're right about being a wonderful Christian man. We were very blessed to have him here. It was nice to have him over to our house to visit. I used to use filters on my cameras but it is much easier to just use the Adope Photoshop. That's also what the professionals use when they publish their pictures in the magazines now. I'm still learning how to use it. I just started learning it about 2 years ago, and I have a long ways to go. Sometimes I print a picture again because I learn how to make it look more like I want it to. I do it until I get it right. For example, the guy who who did the three pictures here on this post does better work with Adobe Photoshop than I because he started about 4 years before me. He does both great photography and printing. He's been a close friend of mine since 1971. He became interested in photography several years before I did. But we have different interests in photography. He's becoming more interested in making film and documentaries, whereas I am still very interested in still photography and street photography, more like photo-journalism. His name is Robert Grantham and he travels the world in search of good photographs. I, on the other hand, am limited mostly to my backyard, practically and even almost literally speaking. This first picture of his won him a prize in some kind of photo/art exhibit in Denver. He's not a Christian or even a believer in God but we have many other things in common, especially photography, art, history, good conversation, and good food. I took these pictures of him at Great Sand Dunes National Park. I left Robert's elbow partly in the picture just for the fun of it. He likes just the top of the tree, whereas I like all of it. Yeah, you are right-- I don't know why he was dressed that way because it was a very hot out on the sand, but come to think of it, the sky was overcast and looked like it could actually rain. You can see this from some of the pictures I took that day. He might look photoshopped but he wasn't. I don't even know how to do that, anyway. But you are right that today you can make it look like someone is shaking hands with the president when neither people even got out of their bed that day. Hold on. Here's another picture for you that I hope doesn't look photoshopped but will prove that he was really there. At least I think I can get it right this time-- oops, I shouldn't have let that slip out.
