Guest truthseeker007 Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 THE TRUTHFUL WITNESS "If I [Jesus] bear witness of myself, my witness is not true." (John 5:31) "I [Jesus] am one that bear witness of myself..." (John 8:18) According to these scriptures, Jesus was a false witness. THE GENEALOGY OF JESUS "And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary...." (Matthew 1:16) "And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being ... the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli..."(Luke 3:23) WHO JESUS SAID WAS GOD "Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?" (John 10:34) According to this scripture, Jesus thought that the Jewish law (i.e., the Old Testament) reported that he said the Jews were gods. THE VIRGIN BIRTH "Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh...." (Romans 1:3) THE SO-CALLED SON OF GOD'S COURAGE "And I [Jesus] say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do." (Luke 12:4) "Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple..." (John 8:59) "After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because Jews sought to kill him." (John 7:1) A case of do as I say, not as I do! THE PRINCE OF PEACE "Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I [Jesus] tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three." (Luke 12:51-2) "Think not that I [Jesus] have come to send peace on earth: I come not to send peace, but a sword." (Matthew 10:34) "...for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." (Matthew 26:52) "...and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one." (Luke 22:36) And to think that these ravings are supposed to be the sayings of one some call the prince of peace. WHOLESOME FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS "For I [Jesus] am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household." (Matthew 10:35-6) "If any man come unto me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." (Luke 14:26) "Honour thy father and thy mother..." (Matthew 19:19) "And call no man your father upon earth..." (Mathew 23:9) HIS FOLLOWERS "All that ever came before me [Jesus] are thieves and robbers..." (John 10:8) GREAT WISDOM OF HIS TEACHINGS "Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I [Jesus] will liken him unto a wise man..." (Matthew 7:24) "And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish..." (Matthew 5:29) Who in their right mind would pluck out their eye and think that it was profitable? THE HOUR OF THE CRUCIFIXION "And it was the third hour, and they crucified him." (Mark 15:25) (John 19:12-18) clearly shows that he was not crucified until after the sixth hour. SCRIPTURAL ACCURACIES "Then was fulfilled [by Jesus] that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet..." (Matthew 27:9) It was Zechariah, not Jeremy, who made that prophecy. See (Zechariah 11:12) "...that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He [Jesus] shall be called a Nazarene." (Matthew 2:23) There is no mention by the Old Testament prophets that this Jesus fellow would be called a Nazarene. God was often confused when writing the Bible. BROKEN PROMISES "Verily I [Jesus] say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things [the end of the world] be fulfilled." (Matthew 24:34, Mark 13:30, Luke 21:32) "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." (Matthew 21:22) The early followers of Jesus died waiting for the end of the world, and even today, over 1900 years later, some Christians still believe that the world is to end in their generation, and that Jesus will give them anything that they ask for in prayer. RESURRECTION His friends come to Jesus' tomb, but the doorstone is rolled away and one angel sitting on the outside gives the news to them before they go in. (Matthew 28:1-8) His friends come to the tomb, go inside, find nobody, are perplexed, and then two men give them the news. (Luke 24:1-4) The other resurrection stories are different as well. Quote
LifeHiscost Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 After years of studying with Jehovah's Witnesses and attending their Kingdom Halls, etc., I believe that while they do teach quite a few false doctrines, there are a lot worse things than being a JW. I couldn't be one because I know they are wrong on a number of key issues, but there are also a lot of things about them and about their organization that I admire. It's common for them to build a Kingdom Hall in one day-- and all for free, because the labor is all voluntary. I never felt so much love as I did among them. I appreciate your experience with the Jehovah Witnesses, John317. And I am certain there will be some who eventually will be privileged to enter the kingdom of heaven. However I do not believe it will be because of their decent virtues shown to others, anymore than I believe that mine or another Adventist's eternal life rests in our commendable deeds. I say this because eternal life is given only to those who receive the Father and the Son through the Father and Son's efforts for the lost. Since Jehovah's Witnesses do not, at least according to what they have told me, recognize Jesus as more than a created being instead of as Almighty God, I'm at a loss to see where their deliverance will come from. That is not to imply our Father doesn't have something He knows about, from the Scripture, of which I'm entirely unaware. This first Scripture might speak to that issue. "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." Luke 23:34 KJV "`All things were delivered to me by my Father, and none doth know the Son, except the Father, nor doth any know the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son may wish to reveal [Him]." Matthew 11:27 YLT "Who is the liar, except he who is denying that Jesus is the Christ? this one is the antichrist who is denying the Father and the Son; every one who is denying the Son, neither hath he the Father, [he who is confessing the Son hath the Father also.] ..." 1 John 2:22 YLT "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6 KJV These Scriptures also put to rest, at least for those who believe them to be from God, other religions that dismiss Jesus as less than God. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made." John 1:1-4 TNIV "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. " John 1:14 NKJV God bless! Administrators Gail Posted September 26, 2008 Administrators Posted September 26, 2008 Truthseeker, have you ever asked anyone to explain why there was so much bloodshed in the Old Testament? I pray that as the weekend comes, that the Lord may give you peace in your heart- a big hug. Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

I just can't imagine the pain that you are in. But awhile back I thought it was you that said you would do anything that God called you to do. Well ... God is calling you to do just what you are now telling us you don't want to do. He has put you on this planet to teach the universe a lesson. Are you up to it? Can you really prove your love for Him. Or are you going to go the easy way out like so many before .... Life is hard. Satan offers the easy way out. Are you going to take him up on his offer? I sure hope not. Join us in our efforts to try to Glorify our God. If we can do that even in just a few small ways ... our job is accomplished. From what I have read of your posts ... you have big dreams. You want to go huge. Huge and Wonderful Works. You think it is 'all or nothing'. That is what the legalists preach. The only thing you have to do that is all or nothing ... is to love God by giving your heart to Him. Look at the examples in the Bible of those who just did their small part. When each of us do our small part ... it all adds up to the huge part that you desire. I respect that you want to do so much for God. This tells me that you really do love Him. That is good. Your heart is what he really wants. The actions are gravy. Anyway ... Just wanted to say that I am so happy that you are here with us. Please keep coming and sharing how you are feeling. Whatever trials and heartaches you may have ... you are cared about here. We welcome you. And we love you as our Christian brother. Just remember that we are all in the same boat. Some just may have a few more blisters than the other. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Guest truthseeker007 Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Thank you Gail. To be honest with you, i am so angry right now that i am thinking about throwing eggs at my local church. I am not gonna do that of course, but that is how i feel after years of putting my trust and hope in Jesus. At least i have learned some important lessons; don t trust God, be responsible for your own living and don t let other people convince you concerning religious matters, no matter how good they may sound, reality will prove that these are just myths. God doesn t care even about his own people. God wants you to feel unworthy miserable worms, but at the same time he just doesn t give a damn about you. Only if i were God, there would be justice...Unfortunately i am just a little worm. Quote
Guest truthseeker007 Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Redwood i have often thought about the distinction between followers of satan and followers of Christ. I think Christ is the lesser evil of both, but actually i hate both. Satan is just a plain liar, murderer etc. and Jesus is the one who is creating false hope, talking about things he is not able or willing to do in order to get sinners back on track. Now i hate to be called a satanist because i reject God. I reject satan even more. Satan to me is just a stupid, ignorant, foolish piece of energy. Still God will treat me as though i am his follower because i reject the Robot-plan for mankind that God has invented. That s why i wish i was never born. Quote
Woody Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Thanks for responding Truthseeker. Just remember ... there will be better days ahead. I don't mean to belittle your feelings. But I think you know that this is the cycle of your medical issues. Hang in there. Come and keep talking with us. We want to help you get through this rough period of time. But, remember that there will be better days ahead for you and your thoughts of things. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Administrators Gail Posted September 26, 2008 Administrators Posted September 26, 2008 Yes, Truthseeker, I know you are angry. But Christ says, Come to me, and I will give you rest. You have been carrying such a burden. I will continue to pray for you and if you are able, even if you can just say the words (for sometimes our actions will follow the words if we say it), put your outstretched hands before the Lord and give Him those pains, sorrows and the heavy weight of your soul. I am glad that you are here, too Those around you may not understand a heavy soul, but we all do here. Even if it is not the same burden, we know what it is like to be bowed down. LifeHiscost Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 . God doesn t care even about his own people. "And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, everyone who believes will have eternal life in him. “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him." John 3:14-17 NLT "It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor)." 2 Corinthians 5:19 AMP brackets, parenthesis theirs Blessings! Only if i were God, there would be justice...Unfortunately i am just a little worm.” I have thought about this kind of stuff for some time now and have created several things to help get my point across. (One link is below.) You said “God doesn’t care even about his own people” and that is exactly what Satan wants us to feel. As long as we believe that, he has us exactly where he wants us. All he wants is to make God look bad. So far, it appears that he has gotten you to believe that lie, for the most part. From my own experience I can tell you that God DOES care about each of us. I have seen times where He kept me alive. I have seen times where, when all else failed, He came through, doing way more than I imagined possible. God really loves us; I am fully convinced, based on my own life. Years ago I questioned for myself as to how to know if there even was a God like the Bible tells us, One who is loving, all knowing and able to be everywhere at once. How can there be such a Being who created not only this world, but the entire universe? That was my basic question and I needed a logical way of proving Him one way or another. It took me 5 years, but I was able to prove to myself that because there are things written in the Bible that were written many years before they happened and then they came true, that there is a real God. It is logical that if someone knows what is going to happen years before it takes place then they certainly know more than I do. It follows that if He says something else, then it is something I can believe also. I have proved to myself that the Bible really is God’s holy word and so I believe what is says. I may not understand it, but I believe it. You wrote: Quote: "And I [Jesus] say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do." (Luke 12:4) "Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple..." (John 8:59) "After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because Jews sought to kill him." (John 7:1) A case of do as I say, not as I do! I do not see this as a case of “Do as I say, not as I do.” Jesus proved that this was not the case when He later was perfectly willing to die, but only when it was His time to die. He actually told His disciples that He was going to Jerusalem to be killed, to die for us. He knew in advance that He would be killed, yet He went there. He was no coward, only much wiser than those who wanted to kill Him. He came from heaven on a mission to make it possible for us to have eternal life and if He had allowed Himself to be killed before everything was played out then the Devil would have won. It was for you that He hid Himself, not because of fear. It was for you that He later allowed the Jews to hang Him on a cross and kill Him. Years ago I tried to step back (so to speak) and take a look at the biggest picture I could find from the whole Bible. What’s the whole story? Here is what I came up with: http://www.bibletimelines.org/big_picture_start.htm (Clicking on this link should take you to a page that will allow you to choose how you view this information. Once you start the presentation, please wait for each page to finish displaying before moving on. Some “pages” are slow it seems.) I am sorry that the Devil has convinced you that God does not care, but the truth is that God does care. God does not want us to feel like worms, but like children of the King of the Universe. (Why should the Devil, who once was a follower of God, want you to feel like God cares? The Devil turned his back on God and wants everyone else to do the same.) Don’t let the Devil win by believing his lies about God. God loves you much more than you are giving Him credit for. Continue to be a truth-seeker. Get to know Him and you will see what I am talking about. (There are several "Creation Nuggets" on www.BibleTimelines.ORG that might assist you in getting to know Him better.) Guest truthseeker007 Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Thank you all for your kindness. I am feeling terrible right now. It s like a thousand needles are stuck inside my head. I am so angry with God. Last night i couldn t sleep because i was so filled with anger. I prayed several times calling Jesus a liar, a murderer, a loser, etc. and much more even worse things. I took my bible and after every false promise i wrote down 'liar' etc. and that his father is an a..ole too. I didn t ask to be born. The number one reason why i don t want kids is because when i look back after all the sh,t i have been through, i don t want to do that to others. I think that would be totally selfish. I hate God and i hate Satan they are really the same. God is like satan and satan is like God. Only God is stronger and satan is the loser. To me it is mind-boggling how someone can trust God. God is a liar and i hate him. There is nothing special in the bible, i ll use those fairytales for toilet paper. I am so frustrated, i want to scream, i want to let God feel what he has done to me. Maybe i am going to hang myself on a cross to illustrate that mental pain surpasses the physical pain. JEsus is so extremely selfish. I need help, i am programmed to believe the fairytales of the bible. I need to get rid of em. i need help! Quote
Woody Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Hi Truthseeker ... I am sorry that you are still having these symptoms. I wish so much that you could get the help you so much want and need. So you called Jesus a liar, a murderer, a loser, etc. and much more even worse things ... and lightening didn't strike you? Jesus must really love you. For whatever reason ... you sure are going through some terrible things. I wish I could in some small way reach out and ease your pain. But I do want you to know that God is crying also. He hates to see you go through all this. Hang in there my dear friend. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Guest truthseeker007 Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Jesus is 100 percent hate. When children are thrown in the fire God is only saying to himself "good that i allow this, the more the better because eventually i ll present myself as the ultimate Good one so they ll worship me even more". There is no honour in God. There is nothing special about God. He is a ruthless dictator and i hope he can never change because that means he ll always be struggling with problems because he is so stupid. I am going to witness to every Christian to see what Christ has done to me so that they ll know the truth. I ll destroy the bible because it is better for people to go to hell and disappear than to live an eternity with a sick dictator...Amen I don t feel that way about you though. You are compassionate people and i cannot understand why God doesn t care about you. Just red another threat were someone had cancer. Cancer? for God s chosen and blessed people? If i were your God i would have cherished each and every one of you, filled you with a spirit of love and blessing and give angels to each one of you to assist you in life. Unfortunately i am just a mortal being. Oh if only i were God... Quote

Maybe i ll get it very soon. I am soooo tired all day. I have to sleep all day and when i stand up i feel sooo tired. Guest truthseeker007 Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Counseling? So you are admitting that Jesus power is only fictional? Well i am glad we agree Jesus ain t got the power to transform my life. Not even the holy spirit is able to do something. All i feel is hate and pain. If i am getting somebody telling me stuff right now i am gonna kill em. Soon i am going to let 666 swines in the church at night because that is how Jesus treats his followers. This so-called sacredness, honour, dignity, being-worthy etc. I am sick of religion. Religion is the cancer of society and it has to be destroyed. Think about this, what if there was no satan and God would have left us behind only with his 2000 year old book, which is only a selection of several writings? Then there would still be wars and people using the bible for their own profit. satan is not to blame for everything. God has his share too, as well as humans. The difference is that God is hypocritical about it Quote
