It's hard to find, but I included it the "who is the anti-Christ" writing... It can be found in Maranatha, the chapter entitled 'Protestantism Unites with the Papacy',{Mar 187} It also can be found in another writing in a more complete version but for some reason it's not coming up on my search on the E.G. White estate website. This next quote proves that the Protestant churches are the “ten kings” who lend their power to the Papacy. “And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.” Revelation 17:12, 13. As we approach the last crisis, it is of vital moment that harmony and unity exist among the Lord's instrumentalities. The world is filled with storm and war and variance. Yet under one head--the papal power--the people will unite to oppose God in the person of His witnesses. What is it that gives its kingdom to this power? Protestantism, a power which, while professing to have the temper and spirit of a lamb and to be allied to Heaven, speaks with the voice of a dragon. It is moved by a power from beneath. "These have one mind." There will be a universal bond of union, one great harmony, a confederacy of Satan's forces. "And shall give their power and strength unto the beast." Thus is manifested the same arbitrary, oppressive power against religious liberty, freedom to worship God according to the dictates of conscience, as was manifested by the papacy, when in the past it persecuted those who dared to refuse to conform with the religious rites and ceremonies of Romanism.”

jamesonofthunder Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 It's also in (S.D.A. Bible Commentary Vol. 7) (Revelation 13:11-17; Revelation 18:1-5; 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12). Deceiver of All Nations —In the seventeenth of Revelation is foretold the destruction of all the churches who corrupt themselves by idolatrous devotion to the service of the papacy, those who have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. [Revelation 17:1-4 quoted.] {7BC 983.3} Thus is represented the papal power, which with all deceivableness of unrighteousness, by outside attraction and gorgeous display, deceives all nations; promising them, as did Satan our first parents, all good to those who receive its mark, and all harm to those who oppose its fallacies. The power which has the deepest inward corruption will make the greatest display, and will clothe itself with the most elaborate signs of power. The Bible plainly declares that this covers a corrupt and deceiving wickedness. “Upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon the Great, The Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth.” {7BC 983.4} What is it that gives its kingdom to this power? Protestantism, a power which, while professing to have the temper and spirit of a lamb and to be allied to Heaven, speaks with the voice of a dragon. It is moved by a power from beneath (Letter 232, 1899). {7BC 983.5}

Now we just need to find that from the Bible alone. It cannot be presented as Biblical Doctrine until that happens. But maybe with this key, we will be able to find it? :-) You are exactly right and this is why I believe I have been given these warnings. If I may, it seems to me that God saw that we had come to a wall in being able to comprehend and discover these hidden messages, and as a sign He gave me these visions to lead us to the answers. It really tests people to hear God give me the perfect response to a question. They may even accept the message but then they ask me how I found the information, then they are tested. Just like I was to accept this instruction.
jamesonofthunder Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Notice how Revelation 18 is quoted for background then she quotes Rev 17? Ok, now you may be able to glean a little from this thought, 9/11 was foretold in prophecy in conjunction with all of this. In the first vision Mrs. White had about New York she was told... ‘How comes the word that I have declared that New York is to be swept away by a tidal wave? This I have never said. I have said, as I looked at the great buildings going up there, story after story, “What terrible scenes will take place when the Lord shall arise to shake terribly the earth! Then the words of Revelation 18:1-3 will be fulfilled.” The whole of the eighteenth chapter of Revelation is a warning of what is coming on the earth. But I have no light in particular in regard to what is coming on New York, only that I know that one day the great buildings there will be thrown down by the turning and overturning of God's power. From the light given me, I know that destruction is in the world. One word from the Lord, one touch of his mighty power, and these massive structures will fall. Scenes will take place the fearfulness of which we can not imagine.’ {Review and Herald, July 5, 1906} Now read Revelation 18, how it is connected to the second fall of Babylon, then it talks about the great City and how she will no longer TRADE in all the things that the merchants of the World Trade Center traded in. The ships standing afar off bewailing the smoke of her torment. On 9/11 no one could enter the New York Harbor and had to sit outside the harbor and watched the smoke rise. I know with all my soul that I was warned that day that Jesus held the four winds that were about to blow. Gibs Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 There is no doubt in my mind that Satan is that eighth king whom the ten horns give their power to. The ten powers that will do this I agree protestants will not be the only ones though as the Catholics and all the rest of the apostate world of all faiths, whatever are all behind 10 "dynasties". These are 10 families that the head of each meets in a penthouse usually in Canada once a month to decide the fate of the world. They control the whole worlds banking, all corporations and these are Satan's very own top chosen agents. Lord Jacob Rothschild is the richest of them and several of them are from the USA. Some may claim to be Jews but are not. Some other rich and powerful have tried to come and be with them but 10 is all that is allowed. It is these 10 that now have the Kingly power over the earth and of course when THE antichrist, Satan comes on He will delegate them no doubt a tenth division, but it lasts but an hour. As the verse states they are kings but not given a kingdom yet. Re 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. Satan is taking over the world right now by them, they are his men, the synagogue of Satan. I once had a list of them all but at present I can't find it. It is Edgar Bronfman's Penthouse they uaually meet in. Where's all the world's wealth going?, in their coffers and they are draining the world and especially the USA very rapidly now. He who has all the money rules. Mammon, wealth. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Twilight II Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 But we still haven't established form the bible and bible alone that the ten kings will be protestant powers. And we should not claim such until we can Gibs.

Maybe then if the Holy Spirit leads you to agree you could show me more, which I would research in heartbeat, even if it was contrary to what I believe I have been shown. The funny thing is, No one has come up with any quotes from scripture to disprove anything I have been shown, EVER. That only encourages me in God's Spirit.

What I am saying my friend, is that we should be able to logically show from scripture, step by step, that the 10 kings are protestant powers (whether nations or churches). We should not rely on the SOP to fill the gaps, because that is an invalid source of information for non-Adventists. We should be able to show it totally from the Bible. Do you understand what I am trying to say to you?

Do you understand what I am trying to say to you? Yes I do. If you want me to write it out, I will summarize with this. "Babylon the Great the MOTHER of Harlots" These daughters represent churches following the Mothers doctrines...then continue reading and get all you need to prove it. I have been shown that the only way for God to PROVE without a shadow of a doubt what these things represent and how to interpret them is by the fulfillment of the prophecies. When the seventh papal king since the healing of the head wound dies and all of these things are coming down, then it will be too late for the skeptical SDA brethren to escape. We are the people who have the testimony of Jesus which is the Spirit of Prophecy. We need to let God's word be amplified by the looking glass of the Spirit of Prophecy to help us comprehend deep things. By letting this sink in we find all the biblical support a true believer needs. But for the skeptics though one be resurrected from the dead it would not be enough...
12tribes Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 James are you saying that the seven heads of Rev 17 are 7 Popes since 1929? jamesonofthunder Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 James are you saying that the seven heads of Rev 17 are 7 Popes since 1929? That is what I have been reading in your info, that is nothing new for non SDA teach that Sorry 12 Tribes, could you clarify your question? Yes the seven heads being the last seven popes is exactly what I have been told. The seven last leaders of the Papal government, then the Eighth King (Satan; the son of perdition) comes disguised as one of the previous seven popes and the world wanders after the beast under his leadership to perdition.
jamesonofthunder Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 What I am saying my friend, is that we should be able to logically show from scripture, step by step, that the 10 kings are protestant powers (whether nations or churches). I do understand what you are saying. I have been praying to the Father of knowledge to show me how to do this in a clear and concise manner. I will post it when completed. But consider this ok? Rev 17:12 "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. If this situation only takes two literal weeks (One prophetic hour equals two literal weeks) then where is the time to warn the brethren? If my God has lead me to the correct understanding and you are left debating will you be ready? The "One mind" they are under is the satanic apparition of the pope, the head of the church that rides the beast with a name on it's forehead (mark of the beast) Babylon the Mother of Harlots. The ten kings are Satan's agents at the head of those fallen churches. They are demons appearing as resurrected saints.

jamesonofthunder Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 So we see that the San Francisco Article makes it quite clear that the wound that was healed in 1929 was the one given the papacy in 1870 and not the one she received in 1798. Let's not take me wrong....what happened in 1929 was indeed very significant. The recovery of temporal sovereignty by the papacy was an important occurrence no doubt. We might go so far as to say that the wounds of the papacy began to be healed in that year. But the wound was NOT "healed" in that year. In order for the wound to be healed, the secular powers of the world must give her back the sword. The wound has been HEALING since 1798, but it will not be fully healed until the National Sunday Law is enforced, and all the world wonders after the beast. I didn't say it was fully healed in 1929 because that does not happen until the Eighth King arrives. The Healing of the “Deadly Wound” The prophecy of Revelation 13 declares that the power represented by the beast with lamblike horns shall cause (future tense) “the earth and them which dwell therein” to worship the papacy—there symbolized by the beast “like unto a leopard.” The beast with two horns is also to say “to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast;” and, furthermore, it is to command all, “both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond,” to receive the mark of the beast. Revelation 13:11-16. It has been shown that the United States is the power represented by the beast with lamblike horns, and that this prophecy will be fulfilled when the United States shall enforce Sunday observance, which Rome claims as the special acknowledgment of her supremacy. But in this homage to the papacy the United States will not be alone. The influence of Rome in the countries that once acknowledged her dominion is still far from being destroyed. And prophecy foretells a restoration of her power. “I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.” Verse 3. The infliction of the deadly wound points to the downfall of the papacy in 1798. After this, says the prophet, “his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.” Paul states plainly that the “man of sin” will continue until the second advent. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-8. To the very close of time he will carry forward the work of deception. And the revelator declares, also referring to the papacy: “All that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life.” Revelation 13:8. In both the Old and the New World, the papacy will receive homage in the honor paid to the Sunday institution, that rests solely upon the authority of the Roman Church. {DD 27.1} "The periods here mentioned—“forty and two months,” and “a thousand two hundred and threescore days”—are the same, alike representing the time in which the church of Christ was to suffer oppression from Rome. The 1260 years of papal supremacy began in A.D. 538, and would therefore terminate in 1798. At that time a French army entered Rome and made the pope a prisoner, and he died in exile. Though a new pope was soon afterward elected, the papal hierarchy has never since been able to wield the power which it before possessed. {GC 266.3} The 1260 years recorded in Revelation points to 1798... There are 36 references to the date 1798 being when the beast received the deadly wound in the Spirit of Prophecy. I think I believe God through her more than that news paper.
Twilight II Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Rev 17:12 "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. But we still haven't shown from scripture that these are protestant powers. This is really important that we can do this. I do not have the answer, but know this is necessary. Gibs Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Look at this verse and answer my question, is the one head that was wounded the beast or only one head of the critter. Re 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. Notice "just" "one" of the heads of the beast is wounded and the deadly wound becomes healed but "all the world wonders after the beast", not the head that was wounded, remember the beast has 6 other heads and here in chap. 13 ten horns with king power, with crowns. I submit that wounded head was the Papacy and it's head the pope was taken captive and killed. This reveals another thing, since this head is a religious system it is only reasonable to know the other heads are of the same. The other 5 heads before were proven false when Christ died on the cross and the one that become the papacy was the only one that had a Redeemer. The papacy was the sixth head and protestantism became the seventh and contiued s short space, less than 500 yrs. and now protestantism is dead, by name only does it exist. I agree with Jamesonofthunder, Satan is the eighth. But I don't see he'll vie to follow in with a role of being a pope. He is vying to be the King and the place for that is Jerusalem. The papacy has had her day. She no longer is the supreme religious system, a Rabbi or two have put the present pope in his place not too long ago. The customary view? No! But see if it don't come out this way. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. A Freeman In Jesus Christ
12tribes Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 The beast & the woman in Rev 17 represents a union of church & state. The iron & clay in Dan 2 is a union of church & state. The 10 horns & little horn in Dan 7 is church & state. The little horn of Dan 8 is strong but not in their own power, the Papacy were strong by the power of the state. The 8th head in Rev 17 which is of the 7th is a state power while the woman is a church. Galatians 3:29(29) And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
jamesonofthunder Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 The woman is the fallen church, the beast on which she rides is the mingling of church and state. The heads on the beast are the leaders of the church that fornicate with the state powers. The second phase of the beast has many papal heads but it is still signified by the number seven, here meaning completion till the end of the 1260 years when the last head of the church would receive the deadly wound. Then comes the last (3rd) phase of the Roman power where the seven kings come from the Vatican church that sits on the seven hills. The reason for the seven heads and ten horns on all three phases is to identify this power as the same as the first. In Rev 17 the womans title on her forehead includes the apostate daughters who follow her doctrines. "The mother of Harlots". The beast that the daughters influence is the Lamb like beast with two horns, of which through their influence begins to speak like the dragon. That's why the daughters are mentioned in the seal on the forehead of the whore in Rev 17 who rides the world powers. The ten horns receive power for one hour and lend their power to the first beast who's deadly wound was healed. That's when America Cow taus to the Papacy who is being led by Satan (the eighth king) in the form of one of the previous popes. He is 'of the seven'.
skyblue888 Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Rev.17:12 clearly states that the ten horns are ten kings. In the same verse we are told that these horns have received no kingdom as yet but will receive power as kings one hour with the beast. The churches of Protestantism do not have a kingdom as yet but when they shall receive power from the State they will receive a kingdom. "Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot that sitteth upon many waters; with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication." Rev.17:1,2. These kings are churches. Mrs. White cites Rev.17:1,2 and makes this comment: "In the seventeenth of Revelation is foretold the destruction of all the churches who corrupt themselves by idolatrous devotion to the service of the papacy, those who have drunk of the winde of the wrath of her fornication." E.G. White, Bible Commentary, Vol.7,983. Notice that in verse 2 it says "the kings of the earth". Mrs. White identifies these kings as churches who have not received a kingom yet but will receive power as kings one hour with the beast. And then she adds this: "What is it that gives its kingdom to this power? Protestantism, a power which, while professing to have the temper and spirit of a lamb and to be allied to Heaven, speaks with the voice of a dragon. It is moved by a power from beneath." E.G. White, 7 B.C.983. "These (churches) have one mind and shall give their power and strength unto the beast." Verse 13. sky "The merits of His sacrifice are sufficient to present to the Father in our behalf." S.C.36.
