jamesonofthunder Posted February 15, 2012 Author Posted February 15, 2012 It is awesome to see the way God divides truth and righteousness from error and sin. Sky that was powerful. The Holy Spirit testifies to His own power by the fruits he brings from us, such as "a word in due season". One of the ways to tell the Spirit of God from the devil's deceptions is by this fruit. Men have a hard time telling if they are off the path, like Peter when rebuked by Paul about separating from Gentiles and claiming physical circumcision is still needed. He needed to be counseled by the one sent from God on the subject. But as soon as his eyes were opened he proved he was not past the point of no return by returning. This is part of the same process we are to be refined by. If anyone is off the path God will always sent reproof to correct them, it is only when they reject the message that they prove they are reprobate. Gail, Sky and Lynn are proving that truth is guiding them by their verbal acceptance of knowledge. Most people when they learn something accept it quietly and then act as if they knew it all along when presenting the truth to others. Only a true spirit filled child of God will acknowledge their error and praise God for the new light given to them. I love reproof because it is a sign from God that He still loves me and cares enough to correct me. Proverbs 1:23 If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you. Quote

skyblue888 Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 "When God gave His Son in our world, He endowed human beings with imperishable riches--riches compared with which the treasured wealth of men since the world began is nothingness. Christ came to the earth and stood before the children of men with the hoarded love of eternity, and this is the treasure that, through our connection with Him, we are to receive, to reveal, and to impart." Dr. Rich Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 "When God gave His Son in our world, He endowed human beings with imperishable riches--riches compared with which the treasured wealth of men since the world began is nothingness. Christ came to the earth and stood before the children of men with the hoarded love of eternity, and this is the treasure that, through our connection with Him, we are to receive, to reveal, and to impart." Ministry of Healing,37. God sent His Son to testify to the truth, the words of Jesus being the same words that the Father gave the Son to testify about. Dr. Rich Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 "It is the privilege of every believer in Christ to possess Christ's nature, a nature FAR ABOVE that which Adam forfeited by transgression." E.G. White, Upward Look,18. "Christ places His own merits upon man and thus elevates him in the scales of moral value with God." Our Father Cares, 121. Is that high enough? sky Huh? Does not Satan believe in Christ? What good will that do him? And as for Adam and Eve, their nature was the same as before, just that they now knew good from evil. And NO, Christ does NOT place His own merits upon anyone--that is a total lie! Truth is, each must repent and carry their own cross. Jesus words were the truth when He said that He became sanctified so that we also CAN or MAY become sanctified. (Jn. 17) Quote

Can the brothers of this site come together and dis-fellowship this man who calls himself a doctor and attacks the spirit of prophecy? John the Beloved, John the Revelator, who certainly walked and talked with Jesus, wrote these words: And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Rev. 12:17 And again he wrote these words: And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Rev. 19:10 John is saying that the testimony of Jesus Christ can be--and is--given to those who live in the final days. Dr.Rich and his theology is fairly easy to figure out, he doesn't try to hide it nearly as much as many others do. The REAL "wolves" are much more difficult to spot, their disguise is pronounced piety and excellent biblical knowledge. In additon they are well versed in the Spirit of Prophecy. The clues as to where they stand are exceedingly subtle compared to Dr.Rich. He's just a warm up exercise!! If HE annoys you, well you aint seen nothing yet. Quote

This is the same thing that is happening all over the world with our church. When a man can come claiming the Adventist faith but never accept ordination and set out destroy a 70 year old church without anyone in the General conference objecting, then it is fully proven that the church is asleep. This happened at my church here in Minneapolis (Northbrook). The so called pastor was a few years into the SDA church and given the reigns of my church while I was in Alaska, by the time I came back he had the support of the youth and young adults who gave him the vote to sell the church and he did so swiftly out from under the elders who built the church with their own hands. After selling the church he took a loan with the conferences blessing for 2.5 million dollars to build his vision of a mega church with coffee shop and rock concert environment. He pressured me to help because I am a retired rock professional and owned my own Smoothie shop that they wanted the recipes from. I objected to heaven and back quoting the Spirit of prophecy that we are not to build large churches or put the church into debt in the last days. No one but God listened. He immediately changed the name to "the EDGE Christian center" and you could not even find the words 'Seventh Day Adventist' anywhere in the building. When he started having secret baptisms for practicing homosexuals I objected again. Nothing... When he made them deacons in their first year of being called Adventists I objected again, firmly supported by the Holy Spirit. Strange things started to happen. The drummer for the band (praise group) found a girlfriend and they moved in together and no one counseled him not to, in fact, they baptized him and her while living together in sin. When the youth pastor went to Colorado this young man and his lover was asked to go with them. They even paid for their apartment for over a year in CO. When she became pregnant guess what they did to them? That's when it was no longer appropriate and they left these kids high and dry 1,200 miles from home with no help. Guess who God called to help them. I was so angry for what they did. When the plans of that pastor failed (he didn't get his sponsorship for his TV spot) and the money was not even close to keep the church going, he petitioned for the conference to let him keep the tithe to run it. They refused and he left in protest leaving the conference in debt 3 Million dollars. When the housing market tanked guess what happened to the value of the building that cost $10k per month to operate? I promised our Lord to faithfully listen to Him every time I see injustice in our church again. How could that man get so deep into the SDA church without being ordained? WE NEED TO BE WATCHFUL!!!! Speak out against improper governance of our church. That is why I am so perturbed when I see people come onto a site like this who have obvious motivations against our church. Why are they here? Because Satan sent them. Quote
Q.E.D. Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Thanks jamesonofthunder. Huh? What then? However, the TEST verses (Key Texts) to prove the words of Jesus given to us by ONLY His eye/ear witnesses can be used to build ones foundational belief are: John 14:26 (no one can be caused to remember without first hearing themselves) and John 17:17-22 where Jesus prays for those of US who build the right foundation by reading the words of Jesus from ONLY His eyewitnesses. THERE--you have the test! Jesus NEVER prayed for anyone who reads the words of Luke or Paul. Can you please give me the names of the false apostles, who "called themselves apostles" as found in Rev. 2:2? If not, why? This is NOT in Revelation to stump or fool us. Hint: Read 2Tim. 1:15. Same goes for the women who God called "Jezebel" in Rev. 2:18-25. If Jesus had named her Ellen G. Harmon White, then the prophecy about her would NEVER have happened! Hey, IF I am wrong, I will repent! But someone must first prove to me I am wrong from the words of Jesus! Quote
