I am not as schooled as most in here with the Bible, but the way I understand it is that the time you, Samie, are talking about is the time after the cleansing of the earth of all of the evil. Before that, we will be with Jesus in the New Jerusalem and that will be for the 1000 years.

When will this inheriting of the earth occur? The next verses proclaim:

The condition described by the above-quoted verses can only occur during the millennium.

Condition: The place of the wicked is still around, minus the wicked themselves.

1. This condition could not be before the 2nd Coming, because there are still wicked around.

2. This condition could not be on earth after the Millenium, because fire would be ravaging the earth and the righteous cannot stay on this earth on fire.

3. This condition could not be in the new earth, because the wicked never had any place there.

Therefore, this condition can only occur on this earth during the millennium. The place of the wicked is still around, but the wicked are no more. And the righteous lives in abundance of peace with their Savior.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 5:9-10 does not say anything about the reign "ON" the earth as being "DURING" the millennium.

Revelation 20:6 mentions nothing about reigning with Christ a thousand years "ON" the earth.

Revelation 22:5 says the saints "shall reign for ever and ever".

That's more than a thousand years Samie. And the reigning in Revelation 22:5 is speaking "post-millennially" too.

Therefore, to conclude that the reign on earth in 5:10 is during the millennium is committing the fallacy of induction, not deduction.

Revelation 20:6 mentions nothing about reigning with Christ a thousand years "ON" the earth.

Revelation 22:5 says the saints "shall reign for ever and ever".

That's more than a thousand years Samie. And the reigning in Revelation 22:5 is speaking "post-millennially" too.

Which reign is Rev 20:6, that in Rev 22:5 or the one in Rev 5:9-10?

Conditions:

1. The reigning of the saints with Christ in Rev 20:6 is only for a thousand years, specific.

2. The reigning of the saints with Christ in Rev 20:6 is one where the saints will be reigning as priests.

Fitting of Conditions:

1. The reign in Rev 22:5 is forever and ever, more than a thousand years. Therefore, the reigning in Rev 22;5 is clearly not the reigning referred to in Rev 20:6. It cannot qualify.

2. The reign in Rev 22:5 speak nothing the saints will be reigning as priests. In contrast, the reign mentioned in Rev 5:9-10 specifies the saints will reign on earth as priests.

Analysis: Since the reign in Rev 22:5 FAILED to meet both conditions, it cannot be the reign referred to in Rev 20:6 and the reign in Rev 5:9-10 remains the only contender. And since its type of reign is the same as the type of reign referred to in Rev 20:6, the reign in Rev 20:6 can only refer to the reign in Rev 5:9-10.

Conclusion: Lysimachus erred in applying the reign in Rev 20:6 to the reign in Rev 22:5.
