God Reveals Mysteries in the Sanctuary Schedule In Type and Anti-Type

Brother Gibs,

Moses received the instructions on Mount Sinai of when the Israelites were to begin the Sabbatical years and the Jubilee cycles.

And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD....Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD:...And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth [day] of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout [all] the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you;” Leviticus 25:1, 2, 3, 4, 8-10.

Therefore, when Israel entered the land of Canaan, they were to begin the count, both, of the Sabbatical years and of the Jubilee years.

The Jubilee year was the year when all remaining slaves received their freedom, a type of the final deliverance from sin. At creation Adam was not in slavery to sin.

Can you see this, Brother Gibs?

No JB, The fact is it was a Jubilee year when God put Adam and Eve on earth. This was the first new beginning of a new earth. BC 3985 has to be that year. Then many new beginnings took place on the Jubilee yrs besides the lands being returned back to the family it was originally belonged to. So there was more than one new beginnings on many Jubilees up through time. The first year after the flood was a Jubilee year and the exodus, BC 1437 was a Jubilee year and many more that could be named that prove this to be the true Jubilee calendar orientation.

6,000 yrs will be up 2016 or 2017, not sure now which, but it don't matter. God may not close it precisely at the end of those, it never was stated it would be exact.

It proves one thing though, we are close, very close to the consumation.

So let me see if I got this right! You've figured out when year 1 started? When God created the earth, sun, etc. How may I ask could it have been a jubilee year? Was the earth already around for 7 years? I for one believe in the jubilee and Sabbatical systems. I believe the world will last 6 thousand years and that the 7th thousand year will be the 1000 years we spend with God in heaven, etc., etc., etc. We do know that the Jewish calendar is in the year 5772. And as one Brazilian Pastor once told me, they are off some 200 +or- years! What we don't know is when the earth was created, so we have no idea as to when the 6 thousand years will be ending or when it began.

PK,

It was Enoch that revealed the Jubilee calendar was in effect from all eternity past and will go into all eternity future. Also Enoch revealed the Seventh day Sabbath was kept in Heaven before earth and earths seventh day was in sync with Heaven and all the Holy Angels and Adam and Eve were together worshipping God.

God did the new beginning on what by His calendar was a Jubilee year, it is not a calendar devised of men just as the solar seven day calendar. He is a 7 x 7 and 7 is His trademark.

Le 25:8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

Le 25:9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

Le 25:10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

That fiftieth year was always the first year of the next cycle of seven yrs. The cycle of sevens is not broken. So from one Jubilee yr. to the next is but 49 yrs., but remember it is the first year of the next seven. Some get it all wrong on the fact that from one Jubilee to the next one is 49 yrs. not 50.

Men after a lot of years quit keeping the land sabbaths and Jubilees and God reinstituted them to be kept after the Exodus BC 1437 which was another new beginning and sure enough a Jubilee year.

It is one of God's Great Time clocks, you can know He has a perfect record of all time past and into the future is known to Him.

Brother Gibs,

From Elijah's declaration that the earth would endure not less than 85 Jubilees, and on the last Jubilee the Son of David would appear, we can calculate the time of creation, because Jesus read the Jubilee prophecy of Isaiah 61: 1, 2 and then announced, “This day is this scripture fulfilled in you ears,” giving us the date of the 85th Jubilee. His announcement was made in 27 C.E.

What we don't know is when the earth fell into sin. But Satan is given 6000 years for his demonstration.

For six thousand years, Satan's work of rebellion has “made the earth to tremble. He has “made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof.” And “he opened not the house of his prisoners.” For six thousand years his prison-house has received God's people, and he would have held them captive forever, but Christ has broken his bonds, and set the prisoners free.” Great Controversy, 659

So the 6000 years is not dated from creation, but from the time that sin entered this earth.

All the types in the sanctuary services are prophetic, both in the event portrayed and in the exact and precise timing of those events. As the first advent types were fulfilled right to the exact moment, and the types relating to the second advent MUST also be fulfilled in exactly the same way, so the timing is very precise.

The seventh millennium which begins when the Jubilee commences will begin when the trumpet is blown on the Day of Atonement in the 50th year, the year after the 7th Sabbatical year.

Brother Gibs you stated, “...it never was stated it would be exact.”

These types were fulfilled, not only as to the event, but as to the time....In like manner, the types which relate to the second advent must be fulfilled at the time pointed out in the symbolic service.” Great Controversy 399, 400

Your statement would be in contradiction to this statement from the Spirit of Prophecy. The statement from the Spirit of Prophecy sounds like very exact timing to me.

The years you mentioned 2016 and 2017 have no connection whatsoever to God's Jubilee years. They are the second and third years in a Sabbatical cycle of years.

Brother pkrause,

Yes, according to my understanding there were some changes made of the age of the earth in the Hebrew calendar, so that the years would not line up with Daniel's prophecy of when the Messiah would appear nor of the doom pronounced to fall at the end of the 70 weeks.

So their years are a couple hundred or so from what they should be.

Posted

Johnboy,

I should point out to you that Gibs really doesn't believe in the Spirit of Prophecy. When I pointed out to him that Ellen White clearly ended the 70 weeks in 34 A.D., he flat out rejected it, said Ellen White was wrong, and is determined to believe that the 70 weeks ended in 33 A.D.

He uses the argument that only when Ellen White says, "I was shown" that this means it was inspired. So whether he realizes it or not, sadly, he rejects the Spirit of Prophecy.

Giving him Ellen White quotes proves to be futile.

Marcos,

I think that Gibs does not know what it means when the ZERO year does not exist in a linear time-line. Maybe you could try to explain it to him...

That's easier said than done. If people have an idea in there head there's nothing that can change it. Especially when its as simple as the fact that there is no year 0. Sad very sad :(

Ha, Ha you guys it is simple. You count the beginning year in your count down, BC 457 down through BC 1 and you have exactly 457yrs. Then you must start with AD 1 through 33 and it is exactly 33 yrs. 33 plus 457 is exactly 490 yrs.

There is and never was a 0 yr. But my friends there has to be a year BC 1 and next an AD 1 and you can't get around it.

Now AD 27 is the correct year Jesus started His ministry and that was the first yr. of the last seven, AD 30 was the mid week yr. and AD 33 the ending yr. of that wk. of yrs.

Here is your verse,

Da 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

69 weeks to the week of Messiah the Prince and then He started that 70'th.

Then these two verses finish the story,

Da 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Da 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

AD 27 the first yr. of that week He confirmed the covenant to them and AD 30 the middle He died, AD 33 the last yr. of that week. AD 27 through AD 33 is 7 yrs., You cannot include AD 34 as you would have 8 yrs.

You can't change it, the math won't let you as math don't lie.

The only way you can change that outcome would be to prove BC 458 was the starting yr. for the prophecy and there is no records that will show that. Besides BC 457 was a Jubilee yr. and God has His new beginnings on a Jubilee yr. Always has and always will.

Lys,

You must provide the math which you don't do, Mine is correct, the figures don't lie. There is no doubt about it Jesus started his ministry, confirmed the covenant, AD 27 through and finished AD 33. Show me your math. I showed you how it only can be. You would have to change the decree date and I would not try that. AD 27 though AD 33 is exactly 7 yrs.. That was your 70'th week, and of course we start with BC 457.

You will find EGW agrees with AD 27.

The fall of 457 BC to the fall of 27 AD is indeed 483 years. You are correct on that.

The fall of 27 AD + 7 years = the fall of 34 AD, not the fall of 33 AD.

Halfway between the fall of 27 AD and the fall of 34 AD is the spring of 31 AD, not the spring of 30 AD.

Technically 27AD would be 1, AD 28 would be 2, etc. But you do realize that that is not the way years are counted? When your born your not 1 year old! you are 0. So if your born on the 4th of July 2011 you become 1 year old in 2012, July 4. So there has to be a starting point? Correct? So lets say its AD 27 but we need to have a Month and a day! Correct? So lets say its (we'll use our months for this) April 15 AD 27! Well we now have to go until April 15 AD 28 to get 1 year! Correct? So from AD 27 apr 15 till AD 28 apr 15 is !; from apr 15 ad 28 till apr 15 AD 29 would be 2, etc.! Correct? So from that we get 7 yrs till Apr 15 AD 34! Correct? So 27-28 is 1; 28-29=2; 29-30=3; 30-31=4; 31-32=5; 32-33=6; and 33-34=7! Correct? That's the way I count. You can't start with a date and say that's 1 year! Its not AD 27-AD 27! Can you see that? I believe all will agree? So if you start with BC 457, you can't just count that as 1, You have to say 457 Apr 15-456 Apr 15=1! Correct? So now we count 457-456=1; 456-455=2, so that means that from BC 457 apr 15-BC 1 apr 15=456 yrs! Correct? From 1 BC apr 15-1 AD apr 15=1 yr! Correct? Added to the previous 456 yrs that = 457; from AD 1 apr 15-AD 34 apr 15=33 yrs than added to 457 yrs = 490 yrs!!!!!! Correct? This is how you count yrs! Again I think most if not all except you would count the yers from BC 457 apr 15-AD 34 apr 15! That's the way I see it.

Pk,

Ya should have carried it on out, 27-is 1, 28-is 2, 29-is 3, 30-is 4, 31-is 5, 32-is 6, and then 33-is 7.

And PK, you are not 1 the day you are born, you are in your 1'st year and starting on your aniversary of birth you are in your second yr.

You count 457 as the 1'st yr. as in that year the decreed came to fruitition. It don't matter exactly when it took effect but I got an idea it was at the beginning and then men began to move and so 457 it is counted the first yr.

No, the math includes the yr. 457 and no doubt about it.

Just like the Time of the Jews ended that 70'th yr, the time of the Gentiles began the next and that is yr. one for them. God ends the year at the spring equinox.

The starting year is inclusive.

Totally wrong reckoning. 27 is not 1. 27 is not counted, as the 483rd year was 27. Thus, counting the next 7 years must begin with 28, not 27.

483 years = Fall of 457 B.C. to Fall 27 A.D.

7 years = Fall of 27 A.D. to Fall of 34 A.D.

We're dealing fall to fall here. Fall to fall.

It still was in the year 27 and not 28 and Jesus did start that year. So that is the first year. It then ended in 33 and just a little into 34 but mainly 34 is the year of beginning for the Gentiles.

God's year begins at the spring equinox.

Well Lys,

They sure do add up. The thing of it is the Jubilee calendar don't miss and many Jubilees back to the 19'th after Adams death. You see Adam lived 930 yrs plus a few months into his 931'st. Now 931 yrs is exactly 19 Jubilee cycles and so The next yr. would be a Jubilee.

Also when the flood ended the next yr. was a Jubilee, a brand new beginning. Then many Jubilees of importance happened but not in my mind at present and it came to BC 1437 the Exodus and it was a brand new beginning, yes sir a Jubilee yr.

There was 10 Jubilee cycles in the 490 yrs allotted to the Jews. When it ended or them the next yr. was another brand new beginning and that date is AD 34 and the gospel commision went to the Gentiles.

BC 702 is a Jubilee recorded in the Bible. Our last Jubilee is our year 1994 but noone has noticed as men have always wanted to forget the land Sabbaths and returning the land back to the original family. Mostly up through time the land Sabbaths and Jubilees have been abandoned and most today have no understanding of it's importance and accuracy to know where we are at.

Most don't recognize the Jubilee calendar is the calendar prophetic, yr for a day time was given on.

Nothing is wrong with my math.

Yes Jesus began the year 27 so it is inclusive.
