Members phkrause Posted March 17, 2015 Members Posted March 17, 2015 There's the Trinity and then there's the Beast's version of the Trinity. So EGW is the Beast????? Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Scuba Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 So EGW is the Beast????? No! The Vatican is the Beast. I agree that there are three manifestations of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They are not co-eternal and co-equal and the Spirit is not a person. Quote Sometimes our behavior needs time to catch up to our salvation...
8thdaypriest Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Even EGW used, it. The publishers went back through her writings and CHANGED the "it" (which she wrote) to a "He". I have the earlier versions. In those versions she called the Holy Spirit "it". Mrs White did change her view concerning the nature of the Holy Spirit. For the first 50 years of her ministry, there were only "the Father" and "the Son". I don't know that this should give her publishers permission to CHANGE her writings. Quote 8thdaypriest
8thdaypriest Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I'm trying to understand exactly what Samie's position is. He says that he believes that "God" is ONE being - "the Father". But then he says he believes that Jesus Christ is another divine being. And the Holy Spirit is another divine being. Did the Holy Spirit have a "beginning" ? Did the Holy Spirit come forth from God the Father - like Jesus did? Samie, Would you explain further - what you believe? Thanks Quote 8thdaypriest
