The Loud Cry As foretold in the eighteenth of Revelation, the third angel's message is to be proclaimed with great power by those who give the final warning against the beast and his image: "I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double." Instead of leading the world to render obedience to God's law, the church is uniting more and more closely with the world in transgression. Daily the church is becoming converted to the world. How many professing Christians are slaves of mammon! Their indulgence of appetite, their extravagant expenditure of money for selfish gratification, greatly dishonors God. {8T 118.4} And through lack of zeal for the promulgation of the third angel's message, many others, while not apparently living in transgression, are nevertheless as verily lending their influence on the side of Satan as are those who openly sin against God. Multitudes are perishing; but how few are burdened for these souls! There is a stupor, a paralysis, upon many of the people of God, which prevents them from understanding the duty of the hour. {8T 119.1} When the Israelites entered Canaan, they did not fulfill God's purpose by taking possession of the whole land. After making a partial conquest, they settled down to enjoy the fruit of their victories. In their unbelief and love of ease they congregated in the portions already conquered, instead of pushing forward to occupy new territory. Thus they began to depart from God. By their failure to carry out His purpose they made it impossible for Him to fulfill to them His promise of blessing. {8T 119.2} Is not the church of today doing the same thing? With the whole world before them in need of the gospel, professed Christians congregate where they themselves can enjoy gospel privileges. They do not feel the necessity of occupying new territory, carrying the message of salvation into regions beyond. They refuse to fulfill Christ's commission: "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." When the gospel is preached, normally the intent is to make people member of the body of Christ. This presupposes that people to whom the gospel is preached are NOT yet in Christ. And to be NOT in Christ is to be NOT saved. It simply follows that the general message of the popular gospel being preached is for people to believe so they can be in Christ and be saved. IOW, unless they first believe they cannot be saved. But consider this. Unsaved people are not in Christ. If people are not in Christ, then they cannot bear fruit. If people cannot bear fruit, then they cannot have faith because faith is fruit of the Spirit. If people cannot have faith, then they cannot believe because believing is exercising faith. And if people cannot believe, then they cannot be saved as per popular gospel being preached. Hence, the unsaved will remain unsaved. I think, instead of telling people to believe so they can be in Christ, we need to tell people to believe that they are already in Christ. And being in Christ, they have His power to overcome evil with good. If they refuse to believe and overcome the evil of unbelief, they will be blotted out from the book of life. But overcomers will Christ not blot out from the book of life and will be seated with Christ in His throne even as He also overcame and sat down with the Father in His throne. All not blotted out will be allowed entry to heaven (Rev 21:27); all blotted out will have their portion in the lake of fire (Rev 20:15).

I would use the word "rebellious" rather than complacent. Just my opinion, but I don't think that Yahweh is as concerned about correct doctrine and behavior as He is about intimacy and relationship. I believe the Bible especially the OT) was purposely made cryptic and confusing (at least to those who don't study a lot) to "hide" the mystery of salvation from both evil humans and evil spirits. I have seen spiritually powerful and gifted people in many Christian denominations besides Adventism. The Bible even seems to indicate that the "mystery" of salvation was hidden from all until after Christ's death: "No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him—" (1 Cor. 2:7-9)

I may not have full cognition of how best to present it but if I let the Holy Spirit lead in my life, when the time is right He will give me capacity to present it when it is needed. 14Later as they were eating, Jesus appeared to the eleven and rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. 15And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.… Mark 16 God is Love!~Jesus saves! Our own people need to have the light placed before them in clearer lines. {CH 520.3} Iran's Former President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani Died suddenly yesterday and today American naval vessels in the Persian Gulf fired warning shots at 4 Iranian speed boats. In Revelation 10 God has declared that time shall be no longer. Long time a day for a year ended in Revelation in 1844. Thus when John writes Prophesy again, the time prophecies that are repeated are repeated in literal time. I have been suspecting that the war with Iran would be the catalyst to keep Obama in office. Some one in Iran was prophesied to die. He died last night. I expect the war on or by Wednesday 18 January 2017. And Obama who is identified as America's last President will have indignation against the Constitution by taking a third term with the help of a few (whether in congress of Supreme Court --we will know soon enough). I do not believe that one needs to assert a claim that the Bible has predicted one death in Iran on any day of the year. On another issue: What if President Elect Trump would die before January 20? The Electoral College has met and Donald Trump is now the President Elect. If he were to die before January 20, the 20th Amendment to the Constitution would rule. The image in Daniel 2 only has two legs and two feet. The beast in Revelation 13 that follows the papal beast only has two horns. Let us look at the image of Daniel 2: In Daniel 2, the image is described as having: * A head of good. * Chest and arms of silver. * Belly and thighs of brass. * Legs of iron. * Feet and toes of iron and clay. * A stone that demolishes the image. Each of the above is further explained in the chapter. E.G Nebuchadnezzar is represented by the head of gold. If we believe that the Bible is sufficient to explain itself, it is very important to note what the Bible explains and what it does not explain. We can state with confidence that Nebuchadnezzar is the head of gold because the Bible says so. But, it is just as important to note what that Bible does not explain. The Bible does not state: * That there are two (2) legs. * That there are ten (10) toes) * That there are five (5) toes on each leg. I know of people who attempt to give detailed discussions of all three (3) of the above on the basis that people generally have two (2) legs and ten (10) toes. Because the Bible does not give that detail, it is not justified for us to attribute prophetic importance to such issues and to do so goes beyond the Bible. Yet, I know of people who think it proper to do so. such is reading into the Biblical text what in not there. NOTE: We can not say that everyone has two legs and 10 toes. hch Posted January 15, 2017 Author Posted January 15, 2017 UPDATE While preaching Present Truth to a small group of 8 people last (Sabbath) night, they were armed with some great questions. Some of which I could not answer. But the questions called for prayer and further study. During my study into the early hours of this morning, the Lord blessed me with the understanding that the 1290 days of Daniel 12 have begun and ended. The 1335 days will end 20 January 2017 when President Obama will exalt himself by his own authority to be America's President for a third term. The abomination that President Obama set up was to exalt himself and it will be fulfilled at the end of the 1335 days. The info is readily available so anyone who is interested can pray and study and find it. The blessing on 20 January 2017 is to know that God's word is sure and when it is rightly divided, the wise will understand.
