Sooner or later everyone is going to learn that they started trusting Jesus as their Saviour ONLY because God laid hold on them by His sovereign grace and caused Jesus to be "chioce" in their heart.

What I perceive to be the basic issue.

People who don't think salvation is 100% by God, not just 100% provided by God like to be in the hands of their own "free" will. That is where they feel most secure.

IMO, that is the most basic difference between ANers and URs.

Just like in the case of Lydia (whose heart the Lord opened, Acts 16:14) and Saul of Tarsus (Acts 9:1-8), our cooperation to be saved is the result, not the cause, of God laying hold on us by His sovereign grace and causing Jesus to be "choice" in our heart.

The timing of the salvation of everyone is under God's sovereign control, some now, all the rest later. We know this is true because God wants ALL men to be saved (1Tim. 2:4), and it is absurd to think that God does not have the power to get what He wants.

The good news of the gospel is that even when Adam hid himself from God, it was God who went after Adam, and when He found him, He clothed him with clothing only acceptable to Himself. This act by God was not only a prophecy foretelling the coming of One who would bruise the serpent’s head, but a guarantee to all those of Adam’s race that they, too, would experience this bruising of sin in their own lives—“to be testified in due season.” (1 Tim. 2:4, 6) All of mankind was in Adam when he sinned; all of mankind was also in Adam when God clothed him.

Why is it so easy for us to accept the first part of Paul’s statement but not the second? It’s because the first part (in Adam all die) is past and present, and the second part (in Christ shall all be made alive) is future and has yet to be fulfilled. The first part is something we can see with our eyes and have experienced firsthand; the second part is something that can only be seen with the eyes of faith, and only has been experienced by a few. It is easy to see that all men are sinners, but it much more difficult to see all men “in Christ.” No, it is not something that we see right now, but nevertheless, it is finished as far as God is concerned, and one day the glorious plan of God’s salvation will be fulfilled so that God can truly be “all in all.” (1 Cor. 15:28)

Thus we have both the beginning and the ending of God’s plan for mankind. Genesis 3:21, seen through the eyes of faith, is God’s guarantee that one day all men will realize and rejoice in the truth of being “IN” Christ—for “every knee should bow and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord….” (Phil. 2:10-11) Because we are in the loins of Adam, we receive the same curse AND the same blessing that he also received. Adam’s curse was death, but his blessing was the skins of a dead animal (Christ in the flesh). None of us had any choice to be “in Adam,” therefore, none of us will have a choice to be “in Christ!” This is the “glad tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.”

So we have both the Alpha and the Omega in God’s plan. The beginning is “as in Adam all die,” the ending is “so in Christ shall all be made alive,” and everything in between is God’s record of how that is to be accomplished. The fact that this salvation MUST be received by each man, through faith, in no way affects the final result of God’s purpose to “fill all things with Christ.” (Eph. 4:10) Faith is a gift of God and will be given to all men exactly when God deems it to be given—no sooner, no later. For some it is given now; for others, in the ages to come. Nevertheless, God’s promise to humanity can never be revoked. The Alpha tells us what is in the past, the Omega is the prophetic and tells us what is future, and everything in between is how God is presently working it out.

God has a definitive plan that He is working out and neither the “will of man” or the schemes of the “evil one” can prevent Him from carrying it out precisely as He planned it out “before the foundation of the world.” Just as Adam had nothing to do with being clothed with the skins of an animal, so all of humanity will have nothing to do with being clothed with the righteous covering of Christ. This is God’s great work. All of God’s judgments, though severe, are for the purpose of bringing about His glorious and unfathomable plan. (Rom. 11:33) Salvation is God’s work all the way, and He will not fail! Will you have the faith to believe it?

According to what you teach, it doesn't ultimately make any real difference to anyone's salvation whether they accept the gospel or not. So why preach the gospel?

So, again, where does the Bible teach that everyone who is cast into the lake of fire will be saved out of it?

The very last thing the Word of God says about those who are not saved is found in Rev. 22: 14, 15--

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. [15] For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Nothing is said here about everyone being saved; quite the contrary: it makes it clear that those who are not saved are "outside the city," and those who are saved enter in through the gates of the city.

Man's greatest need is a change in their stubborn will.

God will not fail to sooner or later meet everyone on this the level of their greatest need.

We know this is true because He wants ALL men to be saved.

Sooner or later “God will have all men to be saved” (1 Timothy 2:4)

It is God’s “pleasure” that all mankind be saved.

And “God is operating all in accord with the counsel of His will” (Ephesians 1:11).

Change it to read “in accord with the counsel of what He wants” if you like.

You're misquoting the Scripture. It doesn't say that "sooner or later God will have all men to be saved." It says that God "desires [i.e., wants] all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the TRUTH."

But you're evidently forgetting or ignoring the fact that God gets no pleasure from manipulating or forcing people's wills.

Significantly, the context of the above quote from Isaiah is God's determination to punish Israel for her idolatry, her wickedness and rebellion. The context is NOT that God plans to save all people, the Devil and the demons.

It's essential, too, that we consider that Isaiah also wrote the following concerning the destiny of the wicked:

Isaiah 1:28,31

But rebels and sinners shall be together,

and those who forsake the Lord shall come to an end [or be consumed].

.... [31] And the strong shall become tinder,

and his work a spark,

and both of them shall burn together,

with none to quench them.

Isaiah 66:24

"And they shall go out and look on the dead bodies of the men who have rebelled against me. For their worm shall not die, their fire shall not be quenched, and they shall be an abhorrence to all flesh."

Compare this with Malachi 4: 1,3--

For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Is my impression right that you are only interested in copying and pasting what others have said, rather than discussing your own personal beliefs in your own words?

It seems clear to me that you realize you have no Bible evidence that supports your beliefs and answers the questions I'm asking. Otherwise you would show them rather than merely quote statements by other people which don't really even answer my questions or address the Bible quotes I've given.

The book of Revelation does not take us quite this far. Corruption is eliminated and our bodies are now incorruptible. The worst enemy of all, death, has been abolished.

The salvation of all has not meant the ignoring of sin. The lake of fire, the second death has accomplished its work. All men now recognize the wondrous ways of God and His grace as expressed through the work of Christ. The salvation of all does not negate or minimize the work of the cross. The work of Christ upon the cross and the power of God as displayed through the resurrection, were both very necessary.

But now at the end of the ages we see the true scope of God’s work. Despite the sin and rebellion of humanity, God has found a way to bring every soul to the point of acceptance. The ages have ended. The purpose of the eons has now been fulfilled; to reconcile all to God. Wickedness and evil are gone. Death is no more. God is love, and He is All in all. Eternal life in perfection has begun.”
