Is this truthful or it is just an exaggeration?

You guys are honestly saying that you don't believe that Christians, people sworn to the service of your God, have ever taken up weapons and killed those that did not believe and forced their religion, by their rules,and run nations by those rules?

I agree with what your saying.  Probably Christians (or so-called Christians) are more guilty of this than any other religion, which is ironic, given how Jesus Christ actually lived and taught.

Christ exalted the character of God, attributing to him the praise, and giving to him the credit, of the whole purpose of his own mission on earth,--to set men right through the revelation of God.

M. T. Cross: I keep hearing about this almighty creator that gave free will, then people like yourself go on about how he punishes people for actually using it.

 
This was brilliant, and, unfortunately, all too true.  It really makes no sense to view God in this way.  We do not see a hint of this idea in the life or teachings of Jesus Christ.
