Actor, Paul Marcarelli was the face and voice behind the line and was the actor in all of the Verizon Wireless commercials. Marcarelli played a technician whose job was to verify the quality of Verizon's network in all sorts of wayward locations. We say ‘was’ because Verizon is no longer in contract with him, as they decided to go in a new direction with their advertisement. So what did Paul do? With only some basic information about the scene (NASA had come to take E.T. away from Elliott), Henry improvised the entire scene, even going so far as to burst into tears. Heselden died in 2010 after falling off a cliff while riding his own product. The multi-millionaire businessman plunged 80 feet into the River Wharfe while inspecting the grounds of his estate on his Segway. The Segway is a motorized scooter which use gyroscopes to remain upright and is controlled by the direction in which the rider leans. You have the right to an attorney. It all goes back to 1963 and a case against Ernesto Miranda, who was suspected of having kidnapped and raped a mentally disabled 19-year-old woman, after driving her into the desert. Miranda’s lawyer objected to the written confession during the trial, saying that Miranda did not know his rights and that he was not required to say anything without an attorney and that anything he did say was admissible as evidence. Their argument was Miranda was coerced into a false confession. Cardini owned a restaurant in the tourist destination to “attract Americans frustrated by Prohibition.” The original recipe included “romaine, garlic, croutons, and Parmesan cheese, boiled eggs, olive oil and Worcestershire sauce.” Supposedly Cardini’s brother, Alex, came to Tijuana in 1926 and added anchovies to the salad. The new version was so well-received that it became the new standard. People gradually began referring to it as “Caesar’s salad”, as it came from Caesar’s restaurant.
