A Must Read Letter That Just Came In To Me

In answer to some others questions, when we are Truly His and are Baptised of His Spirit we now have put on His Divine Nature. We have perfect communication with Him from then on and none, NONE of those exercises are of any value.

Our leading and guiding then comes directly from Him Who Alone is the Head of His Church. You see each member is one in Him, a Spiritual Member of His Body, His Church.

There is no other head or leader in it, He is the Sole Organizer and Guide of His Church and His Members are not guided or led by any but Him.

Christ in you is the answer to it all, our only hope of Glory.

In the beginning when Jesus Christ set it up and Orgaized it on Himself the "Rock", was any one of the Apostles appointed the head? No! Christ Himself done the leading and sending. He is the invisible Head and the only Head that His Church can have. When man appoints a king then it is the man's and not Jesus Christ's church, rather structure then as Church is only by Him and His Presence. His Presence Only Constitutes Church.

1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

The apostles were all appointed as leaders of the early NT church. Together, they were to oversee the Church and God's organizational structure has never been changed from the Biblical model; except by people such as yourself who come along and choose to believe something they cannot prove. This conspiracy theory re "spiritual exercises" and other Roman Catholic stuff "secretly" or openly being taught/practiced in the Adventists church is not new. It is as old and dry as the hills of Gilboa. And certainly not true. You still have not given definitive proof of who is teaching what or where. Fright-tactic letters, and paranoid accusations such as these are not something Christians should count on as "truth."

Your explanations for leaving the church cannot be supported by the Bible texts you keep quoting. Yes; you have a right to do so and maybe things were pretty bad at your church for some reason; my only objection here to this part of your posting is that you are twisting the Bible texts around to your actions and decisions. They actually do not denote what you say. It should be the other way around. There is not one text which tells us to leave the church and strike out on our own.

The unity of God's people does not depend upon seeing all doctrines the exact same way, by everyone in the Church. The quickest example would be to look at what the disciples taught, believed and practiced when they were in ministry with Jesus; and it's no different today.

EC and miz3, you both made some really good points! I enjoyed your last posts above very much! Makes total sense, and can be supported by scripture too!

Something I would like to look at here.

Before I get started a little disclaimer. I am in no way a supporter of the Catholic church. As a matter of fact I have such a vendetta against the Vatican I can't even explain it. They have kept so much from the world, they have hidden truths and wasted millions of lives.

That said.

I sense an unreasonable predjudice. Simply because something has its basis in the RCC does not automaticly make it wrong. They also worship the same God, the same saviour as the SDA's. Should you stop doing that because they do? There have been amongst the RCC clergy and members many many devout followers of Jesus. Holy men and women that have done great good and had a close relationship with their God.

What I see when I read things like the OP letter and many of the responses is people getting so caught up in the "right HOW to do it" that they start missing what the IT is. If you feel complete just reading your Bible and praying - more power to ya. But if you want to go deeper there are ways to go deeper. Some would have you believe that these methods are evil and occult related. A slippery road to Devil worship itself.

Here is a clue.

Every religion in the world has some things that they all do. When you pray, when you do Communion, when you recite the Lords Prayer, you are doing things VERY similiar to pagan practices, to occult practices. Are you going to stop doing them? Of course you are not - these are some of the things that are the very foundation of your religion.

Its about intent. You can do spiritual excersises, spiritual formation, whatever. It comes down to your intent. Why are you doing it. If you are truly seeking a closer walk with your God, for no other purpose than to experience Divine love and truth, then you are doing these things in a truly sacred and holy way. Much understanding and a wealth of truth can come of it.

The Divine is there for all of its creatures. But it will not seek us out. It is for us to go to it if we really want to understand. Each of us is at a different place when it comes to how much we may want to or even be able to understand. THe problem is that we live in a world that is Ego and Self driven. We are conditioned to think of ourselves as unique and special. This is contrary to the nature of the Divine. Most people will never experience the path to Oneness with the Divine without a little help. That is the point of spiritual exercises. Meditation. They are tools that help you build that road so that you can travel it in harmony with the divine.

Of course these things can be used to do harm and to do evil! So can simple reading of the Bible and prayer. I would venture to say that Christians have done much more harm than good in this world based on what they read from their holy book. Its intent my friends. Intent. When your intent is power, when you want to be better than the next guy, when you covet a closer walk so that you can be closer than the next person - evil will come out of it. Then you end up with what the RCC became.

I will leave you with this thought. You are in far more danger of falling to evil by being over concerned with Dogma and Doctrine than you are by spending some time in meditation or time unconditioning yourself so that you can walk in the light of the Divine. I think people that spread conspiracy theories like the one in the OP letter are much more dangerous than a man behind a pulpit teaching a way to further your relationship with your God. That is who you truly need beware of.

I see things somewhat different in that We who are Christ's are One in Him and He in us. When this is in fact the case we have the closest relationship that can be had even of any earthly married couple can have. Spiritually we dwell in Him continually and He in us continually 24 hrs. a day every minute or we are not safe and have cast Him out which we can and many do.

This is the true Christian Unity, all His Members are Connected in Him Spiritually. Then these Spiritual Members make up His Spiritual Body, His Church, Ekklesia, the called out ones of the world, the old life to a new life in Him. Now many of these must be called out of what is known as Great Babylon. Any organization of men that is corrupt in it's teaching is a part of Great Bablylon.

The Pope is the head of what they call church and that is his, the Popes so called church. But True Church is only if Jesus Christ is in it and in it's Members and One in Him of Him and for Him in all things. It's members reject any false teaching and put the imposter of false teaching out or separate themselves from it.

The True Church has no "visible" head but is the Great Invisible One and by His Spirit Leads and Organizes His Church. He only is the Organizer and Leader of His Church.

Any other organization no matter the name given by men can be His Church. How Powerful and How Present is His Spirit? Answer, ALL POWERFUL AND ALL PRESENT EVERYWHERE! So are men needed in directing His Organization, Church? No! If men were needed it then would be the church of men, which in reality is not church at all, as Church can only be had with His Presence in it and the ministry from Him whom He Ordains to minister.

None are qualified to go forth in His Name until they are Baptised of His Spirit and filled with His Spirit or they are not of Him.

This is the duty of he and her in the pews who must decide, Who is this preacher of and if He doesn't speak according to His Word there is no light in him.

Isa 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

There is without doubt a few left in every congregation men call "church" that are truly one in Him and He in them. It may not be safe for any of them to remain in it. They will and must always fight against the false teaching in it as long as they do remain as the Holy Spirit in them drives them to do so and they must witness against it, they are His Witnesses. Most come out when it is seen apostasy is so strong and forced home so hard that their safety is threatend to depart is necessary.

It behooves each of us to be extremely alerted and connected in Him and He in us or we will not see it and will be partakers of it and so promoters in cahoots.

Our Secret and Strength and Stay and Only safe Way is "Christ in you the Hope of Glory"

1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

I believe Our Lord God and Saviour is calling, calling AWAKE, AWAKE to what this world is bringing in. Be careful what you imbibe!

He in you is the Hope of Glory and then communication is continuous all the time with him. He then can uphold you and warn of the false and untrue and to discern whether the one preaching is ordained of Him.

That's great Gibs, but where is your evidence for the accusations you make against the church. You can't hide the fact that you are refusing to provide this by quoting a bit of Bible on us.

I wonder what is with peoples fascination with the end of time. I remember Adventists in the 70's saying we would never see the 80's then the 90's and for sure not the new millenium! As a kid I was so bummed out cause I thought I would never be able to live my life. Now there is all the 2012 theories rolling around. There is always something.

I wonder why people just can't enjoy living thier life, being close to their God, loving thier families, and live in the moment.

Here is something we should all think about

Overaged,

The awake ones see it. I just got an email from a SDA member that told me he don't believe the people in the church care anymore, anything is OK.

Well I care and many, many do and want to see the house cleaned of the incoming things.

Its kinda cute the way you refuse to talk to me Gibs, I will pray to my Gods for you.

EmptyCross,

I don't know that there is anything further I can give you. There is not much to talk about. It's a Spiritual matter and some see it and some don't. I see it and you don't. The ones that I'm acquainted with here seem to be well aware and a few think it is OK. Well that is their view but not mine and evidently yours.

Some are very upset about it and don't know what to do. One said to me he has only attended church services twice in the last 3 months and makes sure he and his family are fed from the Bible and the SOP and prayer. His fellowship is then on the phone and email.

I am One in Christ and not one in those things coming in.

So you are still going to refuse to give pointed evidence re your accusations against Walla Walla and that other Church? Your magical Bible talk here does nothing to prove your accusations.

Are you saying that since I question what you are accusing the church of that i am not "awake;" and that I am "sleeping?" Please stop with your incantations and atleast try to demonstrate what you say. You should have lots of evidence given the serious and sweeping nature of your charges. Your consistent refusal to provide it is sending a message out regarding your message that the world will easily be able to discern the malice and the maladroit character of your "awake" dogma.

I care too and I want to see God's house cleaned up of all these superstitious errors such as you keep pressing, and without evidence.

Overaged,

Lois Kind brought up Walla Walla and I suppose you could ask her about that one. I don't know much of anything from there but where there is smoke there is fire they say and I think you will find Lois Kind to be a truthful and reputable person fighting the "good" fight.

I don't need any more than what I see in our churches here and it is in them and no doubt about it and the members most don't seen to care. Well that is their choice and yours too. I don't intend to enroach on your freedom to like or dislike it. I suppose if you don't see it, it isn't there to you or if you see it is and it's OK by you that is your choice.

Many, Many of us will not be a part of it. I can tell you it makes me heartsick.

OK; so you are dismissing the Louis Kind stuff by saying that this person "must be" a "truthful and reputable person;" and then you are basically left with "because I said so's" without one iota of evidence. By discounting the Kind letter the way you did; you are asking us to believe this solely because you said it is so. Is that even "christian" to ask that of people and tell them they are not "awake" because they require evidence of you? The Christian faith is based on evidence, and you provide absolutely nothing to help us make an informed decision; except that you said so because you "see it."
