Don't worry John, you don't look like Maxwell.

I've seen you up close. I wish we lived a little closer together.

I'm about ready to go to another "All You Can Eat Everything Bar" .

Oh John, thank you for this portrait of Elder Graham Maxwell. He is one of my favorite people of all time. Where in the LLU Library is this portrait hanging?? And do you recall who the artist was/is? Whoever painted him, caught his personality beautifully. He was such a "people person" and so friendly to everybody.

Thank you for this!

Yes, a very good painting of Graham Maxwell. I'm sorry I don't recall the name of the artist, but you can see it on the second floor of the LLU library. There are portraits of many faculty members which you'll see on the south side of the wall.

Oh I'm not worried for me-- I was worried for Graham. LOL I think he was a very handsome man, also very gracious and "winsome," to use a favorite expression of his.

Yes, that would be fun all right, but I would have to be sure to get there exactly at 3 PM so we could eat at the same time. lol

The problem was that I was estimating how long it would take me to drive almost all the way across North Carolina, and it was the first time I had driven that route. I got there about an hour later than I had anticipated.

I had already eaten and gone home by the time he got there. I had to turn around and go back.

But of course it was worth it, to meet the man. The legend, ...that is John317.

Hey, Richard-- I'm very glad to know you like that picture. I like it very much, too. It is actually of a cousin that my uncle and I went to see a few days ago. He plays in a rock band at some clubs. He's a Vietnam Vet and had a very bad experience in the war which I've never heard him tell about. He came back the war badly scarred both physically and emotionally.

One-Room School House in San Timoteo Canyon, Riverside County, CA

It was used from the late 1800s to about 1925. It is still in its original location, on the old Road to La Paz, the route taken by the Butterfield Stage from Los Angeles to Yuma and Tucson.

They plan a church wedding soon. They met in high school here in California. He's the oldest son in a very large Christian/protestant family (10 siblings!) who live near Mexico City. He speaks an indian dialect plus Spanish and pretty good English. They live near Tampa, Fl.

Can he eat as much as you can?
I doubt it!! If John's eating potential is reproduced very many more times the world will soon be faced with a real food shortage.Good one,Richard!!
