As I was getting into my truck, I spotted him sitting just like this against his house. I told him to stay put and not move but he tried to put his hat on and I said for him to put it back where he'd had it. He did and I got my picture just before he broke out laughing. Thank you for that, Naomi. Trips can be either good or bad or partly both. I do hope the images stimulate mostly good memories for you. I leave tomorrow, Monday, for a day or two of photographing the area between San Diego and the Mexican border. I was going to do that before my trip was interrupted by problems with my truck. Jefferson's waterfront no longer exists but the Riverboat Club Restaurant still takes its name from those old times. (I've posted the first picture again because I can't edit a mistake made when it was previously posted.) Richard, imagine the poor lawyers and their clients who may have to hike up these steps to the courthouse several times a day. They have plenty of time to think over what they will tell the judge and the jury and maybe consider the consequences of their crime.
