" Be careful how you sin against your brethren by misjudging them, and speaking evil of them. God has not given you permission to climb upon the judgment-seat, and pronounce one good because he praises, pets, and favors you, and denounce another because he is not your particular friend. interesting statement, to say the very least of it!

You shall know them by their fruits, that is, by their words and by their actions. And the Scriptures teach that Christians are to try the spirits, not to judge other's motives because only God do that but to judge their teachings.

Twilight, even if Redwood is incorrect in his reasoning about willful sinning, doesn't give you or anyone the right to judge someone's salvation. We can judge a man that kills someone and send that person to prison for life or if the state allows the death penalty, than that person can be put to death. But God will judge who will and will not be saved, not us. I understand that you are saying that your pointing out something that might be wrong with Redwoods theology, that's one thing, but to actually judge if he is going to hell or eternal life, that's all together something you or anyone else has absolutely no right to do.

It's inexcusable!

Who are you to call anything inexcusable? We have to excuse you and your off the wall rantings about heresy every single day.

I don't recall Jesus ever saying anything was inexcusable, as a matter of fact he said this:

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

Jesus said unto him, I say not unto you, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. Mat 18:21,22

You have repeatedly charged those who believe in obeying God as preaching a different gospel. Paul says in Gal that those who are preaching a different gospel be "anathema", accursed!!! Or "eternally condemned!!!" NIV.

True Christians look at their own life and try to best honor God instead of projecting their sins on others.

Especially the sin of legalism, although I can find no place in the scripture that points out legalism as sin. And I have seen no so-called legalist here revealing any one else's sin other than quoting the scriptural truths that identify beliefs contrary

to the Word. OTOH I've heard a great deal of identification of the sinfulness of legalism of which there is command to be legal in our lives.

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.Romans 13:2 NKJV

"And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;"2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 KJV

You are trying to place words like "your lost" in my mouth.....Why? To justify Mark's sin? Shame!

that you are saying exactly what Mark was saying.

How about if everyone calms down and just state your beliefs without attacking ones person!

Those who work for Christ are to be pure, upright, and trustworthy, and they are also to be tenderhearted, compassionate, and courteous. There is a charm in the intercourse of those who are truly courteous. Kind words, pleasant looks, a courteous demeanor, are of inestimable value. Uncourteous Christians, by their neglect of others, show that they are not in union with Christ. It is impossible to be in union with Christ and yet be uncourteous. {3SM 237.1}

What Christ was in His life on this earth, that every Christian should be. He is our example, not only in His spotless purity but in His patience, gentleness, and winsomeness of disposition. He was a firm as a rock where truth and duty were concerned, but He was invariably kind and courteous. His life was a perfect illustration of true courtesy. He had ever a kind look and a word of comfort for the needy and oppressed. {3SM 237.2}

His presence brought a purer atmosphere into the home, and His life was as leaven working amid the elements of society. Harmless and undefiled, He walked among the thoughtless, the rude, the uncourteous; amid the unjust publicans, the unrighteous Samaritans, the heathen soldiers, the rough peasants, and the mixed multitude. He spoke a word of sympathy here, and a

238

word there, as He saw men weary, and compelled to bear heavy burdens. He shared their burdens, and repeated to them the lessons He had learned from nature of the love, the kindness, the goodness of God. {3SM 237.3}

He sought to inspire with hope the most rough and unpromising, setting before them the assurance that they might become blameless and harmless, attaining such a character as would make them manifest as children of God. {3SM 238.1}

Since Paul wrote this those that included Peter, John and James, (look at the context) and Revelation is a total different gospel than Paul's, I see a major problem here!

Paul also said that "...even if an Angel from Heaven..." did the same, that this Angel was to be (as you say) eternally condemned. Hmmm? Don't we find that this is exactly what happened when an Angel delivered the message of Jesus to John to write down?

Hello PK :-)

If I was to tell a sinner that if they did not accept Christ, they were going to burn, would that be judging them?

If I was to tell a Christian that their belief was error and was so serious that Jesus said it would cause them to be lost, is that judging them?

This is not my judgement, it is the judgement of the Word of God.

Those that say they will be saved in willful sin, will be met by Jesus saying "I never knew you."

Now as a brother, I do not want Redwoods blood on my hands.

I am clear of the matter.

If he chooses to believe this error, when it has been pointed out to him over and over, then there is nothing else any of us can do.

But please do not assume that pointing someone to the bible and its truths is "judging" them.

Think about it my friend.

Mark :-)

You are right, Mark.

John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

It is not about judging people but about telling people what the Bible says will happen to those who do not have the love of the truth, that God will send them strong delusion that they might believe a lie. This simply means that they will be left to the deceptions of the enemy.

Yes. It is pure arrogance. He simply wants to promote his theory of salvation by works. And to knock down those who don't believe it his theories. If he was the slightest concerned about my eternal destiny ... he would have approached me individually which he has not done.

This approach is clearly from the Devil. Only the Devil wants to promote this kind of Spirit. And he is the only one who prospers from it.

And those who believe that making false statements about what somone else believes and then telling them they are going to Hell because of they believe what the person fabricated ... well ... that is clealy the work of Satan.

Perhaps if one can be identified as being lost as a result of a certain sin in their lives, we can identify that about all of the human race.

" For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all."

James 2:10 NKJV

Perhaps one of Paul's solutions could be appropriate here. God knows how to save in the most severe circumstances.

"For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. "1 Corinthians 5:3-5 KJV
